12 wins by no means come easy. But they can also be deceiving.
At the very end, what matters are CHAMPIONSIPS and the Cowboys have done NOTHING of that sort for the last 30 years.
Now you tell me.... is that a good team?
The Cowboys are a good team.

Sorry, but from what I have seen Dak is just the guy we got today. Beat up on a team that is missing roughly 1/2 their starting O-line and their #1 RB. Yay we beat a team that will probably not even make the playoffs. When I see him lead this team to a deep playoff run then maybe, actually probably won't, believe he's worth paying more than ANY OTHER PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE?!? Which is why I said today sucks. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, even you, so please don't slam others for having theirs.
Lol

They purchased their relevancy and we have no shot at winning anything.

Nice job Cowboys.

You paid a guy who has played nearly a decade and has accomplished 0.
it is the name lol " Dak " and as long as he gets team in playoffs, jerry is happy !
Plus dak is king of stats , he was in this game way too long lol, they could have played rush in 4th qrt.
I would have put rush in and deuce, and just hand off to deuce every play. Give rush some play time, and see what deuce can do.

The only thing I will say is…….. quite the negotiations here by the Jones’. Dig in, don’t sign him earlier in offseason to free up cap space, and then…….. still make him the highest paid player in NFL history.

LOL, well done, Jerruh.
It was all about public perception. Signing him early Jethro would have been bashed after embarrassing playoff loss with all offseason to dissect . Right before season kickoff it’s muted more. Almost like an afterthought.

I give him credit he probably played it well as far as public perception. Many credited for standing firm for months. Some even believing we wouldn’t resign him or make him play for next contract.

That was never intention. Jethro played it well in public’s eye.

There is a reason why they didn't sign those guys earlier.

They love to pretend they are cap poor when FA hits. They use it to justify their cheapness in FA.
That might be part of it. But it also was about public perception after playoff debacle .

we must have been watching a different game. Under 60% completions and 179 yards on 32 attempts? I will grant you that he looked sharp on the first touchdown drive with a couple of really good throws but other than that there was nothing about his performance that screamed "I should be paid more than anybody in NFL history"

the defense and special teams won this game plain and simple

Dakota drove the bus well enough, but again that's not worth $60 million a year
Top pay or Market Price isn’t a pecking order for QB’s.

I just hope that Dak doesn't make Jerry regret it. Seeing it was no plan "B" I'm happy with the signing. That said.....Dak needs to get a lot better and quick. I think a lot of it is also on McCarthy whose play calling gets just as bad as Dak does at times. Maybe that could be part of the problem also......Or the problem. I mean against the Browns Dak was killing it in the 1st half. Then McCarthy goes conservative the 2nd half....

That’s what teams do when you’re up 27-3.

Your comment only makes sense, if he wasn’t on year nine with multiple head coaches, offensive coordinators, wr, tight ends, o lines, running backs, etc. He’s in year nine, what you see or have seen is what you’re going to get:/. Stupid to pay a bus driver that kind of money. By his resume I should be ceo of apple, what have I done, nothing besides be better than him at what I do. Apple unlike the cowboys expects proven results which means at least one year of winning the Super Bowl of tech world with minimum of second place with a conference championship. Heck he’s not even in the top ten when it comes playoff performances amongst active QBs.

And that's how you end up on Sportscenter highlights as the team who blew the lead and lost.. Just lucky our defense was so good-or Cleveland's offense was so bad. Against a better offense-you're asking for it...McCarthy does this in close games also. It's his MO...When DC's have a great scheme or make halftime adjustments. McCarthy usually has no answer.
