Dak Prescott Sets NFL Passing-Rushing TD Record Cam Newton and Mike Vick Never Could

It is very rare and quite an accomplishment

Only 22 QBs have ever done 20/5 and only 4 more than once..... Dak is one of those 4

If you notice many are the first or second players picked in there draft class pretty much the best of the best . Dak is doing well for being the 130 something pick

No Jason Witten.

Dak has pretty much duplicated Wittens performance with TE by committee this year . Even though Witten was at the end it was still surprising to be able to get the same production out of a bunch of no name guys

That's a positive .

Jarwin reminds me of Novacek, a little, actually.

If that's true, then it fails miserably. Dak's passing TDs total is at the bottom of the league over the last 3 years, and running three yards into the endzone while 11 defenders chase Zeke the other way is not a significant skill.

This is not true.

Here is the Passing TD rankings according to pro-football-reference for Dak.

2016 16th
2017 14th
2018 16th.

Hardly "at the bottom of the league over the last 3 years".

Not too bad for working under a mediocre head coach and offensive coordinator.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott went into the NFL record books today, having at least 20 touchdown passes and five rushing touchdowns in each of his first three seasons.

What makes the stat even more impressive is that no other quarterback in the history of the league has done this in consecutive seasons. Amazingly, Prescott has done it in all three of his NFL seasons.

That is why they have an official record book. Records that are deemed to be significant... not stupid trivia. You can create a record out of anything, and you can create infinite records out of existing trivia by just changing the numbers.
Hey Dak, you are the first person to pass for 160 yards against the bucs in week 16 and then 380 yards in week 17 against the giants in the same season. Sounds like you got yourself a record.
Well, you certainly don't have to seemingly,,, Break-0ff bad& all pissed off about it,,, er,,, concerning, what's an apparently factual factoid, ya know,,,, huh?
,,,Er,,,

I said over the last three years... meaning cumulatively, and allowing for a minimum number of starts. Technically, he has more TDs than Mahomes, but Mahomes only played one season of those three.
When you allow for the people who have played the same number of games, he's right at the bottom.
Though perhaps TD % would have been better to use.

And again...in the grand scheme of things we were being held back. Let me see this offense become a powerhouse that it can easily be before we start praising our struggles with getting points as we were sitting 22nd in the NFL.

great support around a QB will get you that, we need to remember this.

TD % ranking for Dak.

2016 10th
2017 14th
2018 20th

Once again, hardly "at the bottom of the league for last 3 years".

His stat is more impressive considering he plays in a run first offense.

You see some of posting now stuff like "Dak has improved"

As if a 3rd year young QB is fully developed. Try to tell them. Wouldnt listen.
No pal, you don't try and tell anyone anything.
What you do is accuse people of doing things they never did, and when you get called upon to prove your accusations
you call them names and put them on ignore like a little kid talking smack while hiding behind his mommy's skirt.
