But it was a statement to a question. Why would you even respond if you didn't want to know the answer. Makes no sense at allYou mean
That sounds like a great way to say you don't know what you're talking about.
That's a statement. Not a question.
Do you consider the fact that Laurent Robinson was a 3rd round draft pick while Cole Beasley was an undrafted free agent?
Or how about the fact that Romo did that after 9 years in the league, at age 31?
What are the qualifiers?
Yes, because it was all his fault that he had no one who could get open and do anything with the ball in an archaic offense.Yes because he didn’t put up bottom level qb numbers in (choose cherry picked range). Is that really the best you can do...
Exactly, see my above post. We are on the same page!He likes to act like the first 7 games of 2018 are indicative of the team and player moving forward lol. When we sat here all offseason bashing Linehan and the WR by committee approach, this guy must have felt like we had a SB caliber team in place lol.
If you honestly look at the roster and schemes from the first 7 games of 2018 and feel like other QB’s would have done a whole lot better then you have some serious hate in your heart or football just isn’t your thing.
A quarterback can give a wide receiver more opportunities. They could practice with them. But actually Elevate their game I'm not sure how that's possible. Unless I'm not understanding what you're trying to sayI am simply arguing that it is possible for a QB to elevate WRs. Are you saying this is impossible and QBs dont help WRs? Not sure what you are disagreeing with here.

Shouldn't a franchise QB elevate the players around them?
Romo was one of the most efficient QBs in league history. The Internet for ten years of Tony Romo starting: "He has more turnovers than big plays, we need efficiency!!"
The Internet for three years of Dak Prescott starting: "Sure he is efficient, but we need big plays!!!"
Dak isn't terribly elusive and he holds the ball too long leading to many of those sacks. He had a great OL for the first 24 games of his career, for the second 24 its been mediocre or bad. We had the second most sacks allowed last year even with a mobile QB, that tells you something.
If the talent around him is good, he runs an offense as efficient as almost anyone’s. That’s a pretty big deal.
Beat me to it! Haha Beas wasn’t much more than a 4th option blip on the radar before Dak. Romo didn’t get him the ball and I wonder if Josh Allen will in Buffalo. Oh yeah Dak got Beas paid too it seems hahaSo does Cole Beasley's career high year of 2016 with Dak qualify?

Did Dak "elevate" him too?
The poster said he runs an offense “almost as efficents as anyone’s” when he has talent around him.
That isnt true. I dont have to even look at the numbers to know he doesnt run an offense anywhere near Kansas City’s, New Orleans, or the Rams. Yall sound just as dumb as Jerry when he said we have an offense as good as the Rams (remember that gem?).
Also, yall continuously blame Dak’s crap play mostly on his cast and not him. You yourself admitted you almost gave up on him until Cooper came. Its hilarious that yall blame the missed throws, the bad reads, and the stalled drives mostly on the receivers. Its crazy. I dont have the time or patience to show you and the other homers all of Dak’s mishaps.
Another thing, is I was actually wrong. We had the 17th ranked offense when it comes to points per drive.
I dont have the actual points per drive once Cooper got here, but we averaged 22 points per game with Amari Cooper. That alone, wouldve ranked us 19th in points per game for the season. I highly, HIGLY doubt that would put us in the top 10.
If im wrong about the points per drive after Cooper being here, i will gladly admit that im wrong. But even if it was top 10, this offense was nowhere near as efficient as KC, LA, or NO
We are individuals. I and I alone choose what I like or don't like. I'm not a hater and I'm not a homer. I don't know why people label usYou may be right on that last point.
I wouldn’t call myself a Homer though. Probably just more optimistic about
Dak’s future than others. I’ve also straight up called him out when he plays like crap too.
I see where you’re trying to go with this, but efficiency isn’t the same as high powered. The stat you should be looking at isn’t ppg, but ppd (points per drive). Then you’ll be talking about purely efficiency as the previous posters alluded to.NOPE
For example:
Kansas City averaged 34.8 points per game this past season. They were number 1.
Guess who was ranked number 10? The Chicago Bears led by the one and only Mitch trubisky.
Who in their right mind would declare Chicago’s offense “almost” as good as KC’s?
The majority of qb’s in this league (everyone not named Brees, Brady, or Rodgers) needs help to win and win deep into the playoffs.I am simply arguing that it is possible for a QB to elevate WRs. Are you saying this is impossible and QBs dont help WRs? Not sure what you are disagreeing with here.

I agree but even when you look at points per drive:I see where you’re trying to go with this, but efficiency isn’t the same as high powered. The stat you should be looking at isn’t ppg, but ppd (points per drive). Then you’ll be talking about purely efficiency as the previous posters alluded to.
I don’t think any Dak supporter has ever claimed he is the highest scoring or best gunslinger, especially in an offense that’s admitted before that ball control is a bigger priority than scoring.
It's a bigger joke to say this line is terrible. In 2017 there were 9 RBs with more than 1000 yards rushing and only one of them (AD) had a lower average per carry. Two tied with him at 4.7 YPC and six had a higher YPC.
He lead the league in rushing because he had 20% more carries than the second highest total, its a joke to say it was all the OL.
