I'm comparing him to Derek Carr who I think is in the same range as Dak talentwise he was benched and is going to be gone after this season, this is Carr's 9th season. Dak in his 7th season threw the same amount of INTs as Carr this season in 5 less games. I'm not saying get rid of Dak now but if he doesn't win this playoffs or the next two it's time to move on. He'll be 30 next summer no team really keeps a QB for 15-20 years that doesn't win it just doesn't happen. At some point you have to show you can win a Super Bowl, that is the entire point of the game not regular season wins or TDs.
so the entire team will need to be cut in 2 years, correct? because this is team game if the team doesn't get to sb, cut them ALL!! that what that means daks not the issue, go back and dissect each payoff game and show me how the rest of the team played and then prove it was on Dak.. ok Internet GM keyboard expert. show me how daks is the issue, alone or even 25% responsible? so what we going to dial up a elite qb who can overcome poor team play and all the holes and mistakes mad in those bigger games?
.
its hard to find good to great qbs, daks not elite but hes good to great had top offense nearly his entire career here, you ready for the possibility like Denver, jets, Washington, ny, Cleveland many other teams that taken decade to locate a starting qb let alone a top 10 qb and then gives up and pulls trade like Wilson and Watson and got what exactly? not better then Dak that for sure. the drafts not a guarantee either lie what SF did for trey lance and then has to go back to their old qb then now on another. you better have an elite defense, awesome STs and elite coaching to try and function that way. too bad Dak, who was better than Purdy his rookie year and many other rookie qbs, had an elite defense and better coaching because he most likely win a sb his rookie year, that offense showed up in GB, where was the coaching and defense? where was thta also agiant the rams, where was the run game, OL and run d last year?
we got lucky to find Romo and Dak without giving up much but that doesn't mean we wont be back to that huge gap between Aikman and romo where we had lie what 12 bad qbs ...
fans are very unappreciative and clueless to just how hard it is to find quality franchise qb,,
leave it up to the pros
