I stand corrected....he is a smidgen above average..

here comes the Dak lovers and their first line of defense..... Romo was worse in his first three years.... the no other excuse out by Dak lovers....

The real culprit is our scheme, otherwise it will take a Top 3 Defensive performance to win in the Postseason..

I’m not a huge Dak fan but the Dak hate is unbalanced. We can upgrade the qb position in the draft if somebody is within reach, in the meantime it would be nice to try to win...

Those are all from PFR. I'll add a lot more when PFF posts their stats from yesterday's game -- soon I hope.

Good job. I was curious about how he was doing compared to his contemporaries like Winston, Mariota, Wentz, Goff, Trubisky, Hundley, Watson and a few others. I left out Mahomes because the inevitable fall will happen. Guys that were drafted about the same time with similar years of experience. Looks like top 10 to me. Good post Percy

This is a half truth though...not only were we missing Zeke during that stretch but we were also missing Tyron Smith and had Chaz Green as his backup. We don't know how Dak would function with a decent line without Zeke because it's never happened. During that stretch of horrible games we were missing multiple all pros across the team on both sides of the ball with completely inadequate backups. Imagine if you had Chaz Green as your LT, Dak would have gotten better protection from a traffic cone.

Smith was in for the Chargers game, Dak looked the same.

But Zeke didn’t help - we had both Smith and Zeke for Seattle and Dak sucked.

Folks need to stop the confirmation bias bot who doesn’t watch games to post out of context stats to sway them.

Wilson's passer rating has really improved as his attempts have gone down. He only ranks 25th in pass attempts since week 4.

Dak actually has more attempts, more yards, and a higher completion percentage than Wilson. That surprised me. The disparity in their passer ratings seems primarily due to Wilson having twice as many touchdowns. And, given the Cowboys’ red zone woes all season, the lack of TDS is as much a coaching issue as a Dak issue.

The game has evolved though. A 97.4 rating for Romo in 2007 led the NFC and was 4th in the NFL, this year its good for 14th in the NFL. Not trying to state that Romo was better than average or Dak is below it, just showing that comparing the numbers that way (without context) does not always show a true picture.

Same offense bro. Garrett has been using the Air Coryell since 2008. Why should stats change, when the scheme hasn’t? Every other offense has evolved into hybrids from a handful of fundamental schemes. Garrett’s Offense is a fundamental, outdated, high school offense

I don't care about the tangents you go on. Fact is what you said was foolish and highlights your bias to the point you cant even make coherent arguments
what did I say that was foolish? you said, he went 20/25...I said, he went for 160....and you are throwing a hissy fit because I don't blindly agree with you...Geez, Dak lovers are so sensitive

Not when we have a close game in the 4th. He's up there.
true....but there are games like Indy, when it doesn't work. games like yesterday when defense hands you 14 points, don't happen often. you play with fire too many times, you will get burned and these come backs have a tendency to even out over time..... and there are those games were he costs us games as well and his 4th Q magic...fizzled...

with this group of offensive talent, we should field a top 5 offense in the league.

I think its a little bit of everything. Dak, scheme, players execution.

This is absolutely dumb - not understanding the changes in not only team, but NFL the past decade is ridiculous.

Have you seen QB completion percentages this year? It’s unreal.

The league has vastly changed since 2007.

I can’t believe the teaching going on for Dak.

Same league? Same rules?

92.3 qb rating is league average this year. Also QB rating is a garbage statistic. Rewards efficiency above all else. That Monday night performance where Mariota played a bad game but walked out with a perfect QB rating tells you everything you need to know about it.

Rodgers, for most of his career, wasn’t routinely missing wide open players down the sideline.

Point is, as JTerrell posted, every QB throws bad passes during games. Even the great ARod.
Some of morons here think Dak sucks if he doesn't throw a perfect pass 100% of the time.

Romo haters used to be the same way. If Romo threw just one INT he was the worst QB in the league.

You said the atats you quoted are what Dak is average to below average. Every stat you quoted was above average. Beyond foolish.

I never said anything about him going 20/25....? Wth? Lol.

These Dak bashers are such girly pops.
