Dak = two division games
Wentz = Cleveland and a bad Bears team

Wentz does look good and seems to be their QB of the future but I will wait a few more games before comparing them. Philly plays Pitt and @Det next while we get CHI and SF. I need more data.........

What are the Browns thinking? Look at the QB problems they are having? Imagine the optimism that franchise would have if they had a QB that actually looked the part.

Browns probably liked the quarterbacks in next years draft better and they will have two first rounders.

He's not leagues better, I agree. It's just that Dak looks like a legitimate 1st rounder. It's amazing what Jerruh stumbled into.

We may never get the true story in Dak by the Cowboys were linked to him prior to the draft. You just knew they'd take him. But the confusing part was seeing them trade to get all these other quarterbacks who were rated higher but still.......

No, Dak, the actual QB of our team, has to pass for 300 or more yards, no ints, and 3 TDs. . Going 22-30/292, no ints on the road against a divisional rival, and leading the team on an 80- yard drive to get the win late in the 4th is not enough.
Isn't it cute how the (worse) of the two has higher expectations? Cowboyszone.com

If QB is solved, we can go after DL in the first two rounds. I'm convinced that a good DT or two will make our DE's look better.

That and hoping Gregory can somehow find himself.

I want to see what Wentz does against good teams. It'll also be interesting to see how Dak plays against the Bears. This is one of the few games I'm " expecting " a sound victory.

Watching Wentz last night I still see the same things I noticed during the draft.
1. He still has the ability to diagnostic defenses and adjust the play call.
2. He sees all the options at passing and find the open receiver.
3. He has the outstanding ability to set his offensive personnel.
4. He can knock the eye out of a squirrel at 80 yards on the run.
5. He is already at a veteran level at game management for 4 quarters.

Dak is still a rookie who needs coaching support
1. He is a pretty good passer but does not have Wentz touch passing ability.
2. He has pretty good awareness of his receivers but sees only to his second maybe third option.
3. Dak is a better runner than Wentz.
4. Dak still needs time studying game tape to notice how defenses scheme and set up for him.

As Rookies at QB I have Wentz as an "A". I have Dak at a B+ or A-. The rest are not up to these two in NFL talent yet (Goff).

OK, shoot!:omg:

I guess it's matter of opinion on what a qb can see or doesn't.

I think that's what was expected based on where Wentz was taken and where Dak was taken in the draft.

I think what we see from Wentz was expected; what we see from Dak wasn't expected, at least not this soon. So, naturally, enthusiasm over what Dak is doing is probably higher than what Wentz is doing because of the expectations for the two.

In summary, if you are drafted with the second pick, expectations are higher for you than if you are picked at the bottom of the fourth round. But to get a starter - particularly a starting quarterback - in the fourth round, that's something to be excited about, especially since we didn't have to give up a bevy of picks to get a starting quarterback.

The Wentz worship on this site is unreal. Dak threw for nearly 100 more yards than Wentz, but Wentz gets the 'real deal' label while we need to pump our breaks on Dak and be skeptical.

The only thing we haven't really seen from Dak in an actual game yet is him launching the ball down the field and that probably has as much to do with the coaching staff than him since we seen him do it in preseason. How does he not have Wentz's passing ability when he threw for nearly 300 yards last game with no interceptions last game? He put up 19 points and would have possibly beat the Giants, the same team that held Drew Brees to 13 points, if Terrance Williams gets out of bounds.

If Dak had the same game as Wentz last night, he'd be called a dink and dunk game manager around here who can only throw for touchdowns if the defense puts him at the 2 yard line. Wentz gets to play two of the lesser teams in the league and has an amazing defense to keep him free of pressure. He also has a coach that doesn't baby him and can actually draw up an offensive game plan that doesn't simply involve receivers trying to beat their man. We'll see how he does when he starts playing tougher teams, especially divisional teams. Wentz better learn how to slide before he gets knocked out of the game, because right now he's a big hit magnet.

Now Wentz has the tools to be a great quarterback, but he's judged on a completely different metric than Dak, and I'm guessing because he's the quarterback many actually wanted to draft.

I'm calling it right now. If wentz doesn't realize the men in the nfl can lay down the wood and adjust his style, he is an injury waiting to happen

Co signed
His biggest weakness, took some stupid RG3 risks along the sideline last night.
