Yes, I think Cam played ok. Nothing spectacular. He made some key throws and runs at opportune times.

He wasn’t a liability in the pocket like Dak was.

At least Carolina knows what Cam is and plays to his strengths. They have given up on trying to turn him into something he is not and have been much better for it. It feels like we have no idea what Dak is unless we are at the 2 yard line and we call a QB draw. Dak needs to hand it off to Zeke, roll out by design or fake the hand off and run. We need to accept the fact that he is not Romo and run an offense that he can succeed in.

Coaching certainly isn't doing anybody any favors on the offensive side of the ball. Still, execution and making the right reads and decisions would probably make the coaches look good as well. They all better pull their mess together or it's gonna be a long, ugly season.

Thanks, I've been around for a bit, lurking. This was the norm on the old DC Forum before they shut it down. There was a group that hated Romo and thought he did nothing right and those that defended him come hell or high water (I was more of the latter). The same ones that hated Romo are now Dak's biggest cheerleaders and are dug in against any criticism of him and Romo's defenders have become Dak critics (again, I'm more of the latter).

This team, I hate to say it, has an abundance of serious issues, none of which will resolve themselves in the short term, which is why I refuse to lose one second of sleep over this team - those days have passed - seemingly for good.

that's kinda my feeling if impending doom and maybe why i simply don't post as much. i get tired of being depressed and i don't want to bring down those who see some positives i just can't see myself.

we seem to have a lot of players, but we don't have any real leadership out there. as we've seen from garrett, leadership isn't talking about getting better, it's doing it and bringing others with you. to date, garrett has just talked and to me, the success we have had has been because of the talent we had in players we just don't have right now.

but you are right. there are no quick and easy answers for the cowboys today. we're so far from adding a player or two that i find it stupid to talk of trading our draft pics for a player like thomas when in the end it won't change any of our huge questions.

I’m okay with Dak sucks threads because I posted many Romo sucks at crunch time of big games threads early in his career. The offense currently has issues on the OL, WRs, and TE. Until they gel, get healthy, and maybe find some playmakers, Dak will struggle.
