It's year 6.

Dak does not have the ability to get any better. He is what he is at this point.

Use these next 3 years to rebuild and have a solid foundation in place for a real QB as soon as Daks contract is up.

They should consider a QB in round 2 or 3, it should give them time for him to develop. Is not he'll be replacing a star.

We can't afford an overhaul, and Jerry won't let go of the losers we are able to let go of. Now imagine if Fat Mike and Moore stay and Quinn leaves. I'll never say tank, but that's realistically the best thing for this team for probably the next two seasons saddled with this team and our brain-dead staff.

Dak went toe to toe with ARod in 2016 and brought the team back in the playoffs and was the reason we were even in the game. The defense just had to stop ARod for 35 seconds from getting a FG and they couldn't.
Dak sucked yesterday and the defense actually kept the game close enough for us to win till the end. It's total opposite of what happened between 2016 and this season. Get a clue.
Toe to toe? Dak must've given him a pedicure after the game, because he threw away the first half and the Packers built a huge lead that was enough to win the game for them.
You have no clue- or don't want to admit what we've all seen for the past 5 years. Dak is the same as he was in college; he plays great when his team is overpowering their opponent, but chokes under pressure.
This we have repeatedly watched Dak choke away division titles against 8-8 teams.
Get some integrity and call it for what it is- Dak Prescott is not a very good quarterback.

Fix the Oline! Fix the Oline! It all starts there.

You mean get someone much better than Connor Williams?! I say sign a FA to take that spot and draft a OT who will eventually replace Tyron.

MUST draft a RB...Dak will not do well without a good running game. It's proven. Look at our games in 1/2 half of the season. Running game tanks and Dak performance drops. Unfortunately Dak cannot carry this team on his shoulders.

Amnesia? Dak played extremely well in the 2016 playoff game against the Packers. Check his stats and check the score and see your error. The defense gave up that game.
That's wrong. Dak threw away the game in the first half and the Packers built a big lead.
Dak padded his stats while the Packers played loose and defended their lead, but we're fresh enough to quickly end the comeback attempt.
But you guys look at stats while we watch the games.
That's what fantasy football has done to the NFL.
And you're in a fantasy.

Wow. I get this forum can be hyperbolic but my goodness.

Dak isn't leaving. Complaining about it is just dumb. The contract is signed. BUILD A BRIDGE, GET OVER IT.

He was playing at an MVP level. Tied for fourth in the league with 37 touchdown passes to only ten ints with a 104 rating!!! He is what you want in a QB. We have to do better around him.

With that said, this isn't an overhaul, it's a tune-up. And that is going to happen because like all GOOD TEAMS we are going to lose our coordinators and hopefully bring in the right staff to take the leap.

I don't want Dan Quinn to go. KM I'm wavering on but more on Nussmier and Philben.

We went 12-5 and had a tough draw in the first round. Played like crap and had dumb mistakes. We lost. IT HAPPENS. GET BETTER.

Did you even watch the game? And don't try to make this into a Dak post. I was pointing out how wrong you were comparing 2016 season to 2021 season. Clueless as usual. LOL.

Kellen Moore gotta go. Vic Fangio put tape out there for the whole league and he never adjusted.

LOL. It’s difficult to get that stupid in one lifetime but here you are.

Maybe you aren’t aware but an NFL game lasts 60 minutes. That’s 4 fifteen minute quarters for the mentally challenged. They all count. Maybe you’re too dense to remember the game was tied with less than a minute to go ( just in case you’re one of the mindless morons that would yell “stat padding” even though the game was on the line). Maybe you don’t remember all the defense had to do was NOT give up a third and VERY long. Nah. You just have a stupid agenda, and embarrassing yourself is part of it.

Dak needs to take more chances. Especially now that he has a defense on the team. He’s too conservative. The fact he’s lookin for Zeke late in the game on a 3rd down in the flat confirms this.

Let the ball rip. Starting trusting yourself. Otherwise we’re done

I'd love to see Dak play for a team that didn't have the talent Dallas has. He'd be drummed out of the NFL.
If Dak had started with any other team he'd be out of the NFL by now.

He would probably have never made a roster on any other team. If he hadn't fallen into the job here due to injuries he's never more than a backup here.

Of course Dak isn't going anywhere. We are stuck with him and his sizeable contract for four more years. You can't cut or trade him because nobody in their right mind would take him off of our hands. We can't sign the All Pro talent he needs to win because his $40 million a year won't allow it. We will be mired in mediocrity for the next few years.

we got what we got. Dak is probably 8-10th best qb in the NFL.

Rodgers, Brady, Murray , Allen, Burrows, Herbert, Wilson, mahomes … all better than Dak. Zach wilson and Lawrence will also eventually be better.

Dallas needs to find a way to make Dak enough for us to win it all. Titans do a great job, Tannehill is not a world beater. but they have a running game, limit his throws and a heck of a defense.

It's you and others like you who live in this fantasy world that are the reason Jerry Jones doesn't worry about his mistakes.
You guys would believe anything and are so caught up in your love for Dak that you don't care about his endless incompetence. As long as you get to see Dak you don't care how the Cowboys are losing.
Dak hasn't progressed in 5 years.
He still chokes when under pressure just like he did in 2016. Just like in college. He knows how to pad his stats against weak teams, but it's all a mirage because teams that know to pressure him shut him down.

Even responding to the few Dak Homers left is a rarity these days .....Bless you, for your patience!
Wait till next season when the pressures produce new Dak follies and his eventual benching.
