You're ready to hang him.
I think you may be misinterpreting my take on the situation as hanging a person.
I guess I can share that my opinion is nothing should happen to KJ until all the facts are out.
What I am concerned about is the behaviour that is being suggested by the facts.
Being aware of an incident that has led to the death of another. Not communicating said incident to the authorities for a certain period of time, but connecting to the victim and the incident through social media anonymously.
My feelings are this young man has a significant amount of resources at his disposal. More than most people. An agent, a players association, league officials, a team owner and team rep, etc.
He has had one year in the league. Been around the locker room of men for a year. I'm fairly certain he has taken all the mandatory workshops and rookie events.
If not legally, then morally nothing about what happened to KJ can be good here. I'm not looking for him to hang here, but I do believe we all have to face the consequences of our decisions. At the very least, in this case, he should have to address his involvement with the arrested individuals and his suspected delayed inaction.
This is why I felt it doesn't look good for him. As I said I'm no Texas lawyer, or a Dallas Cowboys organization member, but it can't be good trying to explain your behaviour.
