Seems to me we didn't get much for these two guys.

However, I think Tony Curtis can flat out play. He has really developed and I expect some very good things from him.

Curtis is a lot like Tyson Thompson in the fact that they both have a ton of physical talent. Maybe Curtis has turned the corner?

Keep dreaming.

Sorry. Not trying to be mean.

I will make my dream a reality.

I heard through the grapevine where Millen lives. Doc loaned me some plutonium so I'm going to threaten to blow up his house.

But seriously, I just have a feeling. 28 and the 100 overall for Roy.

Curtis actually made a few plays in games which immediately distinguishes himself from TT. Curtis has actually done quite well given the limited number of opportunities he has been given.

Recovering that onside kick in Buffalo was a big-time play under pressure and he showed burst, desire and great hands. I want to see more of what he can do.

Fasano would start on some teams. I'm not that hot on him but he was a solid pick. Fortunately Curtis is the better receiver. But he needs to learn to block as well.

BTW, what happened to that former basketball player who was tried at TE. Is he still a Cowboy?

I agree.

Tony Curtis and Rodney Hannah are former basketball players.

One other thing that has to be considered with this trade - the top of the 4th round is a really good place to be in most drafts. Quality starters can often be found here. There is a whole world of difference between the top and the bottom of the 4th round where most good talent has already been picked clean.

I'm not a homer, I call em like I see em, and I'm really high on curtis. He does everything pretty darn well.

I never liked fasano truth be told. I could put my 4 year old son out there and he could block as effectivly as fasano.

Preach it, Eskimo.

But don't forget

... Like Bavaro.

I guess the only thing missing was "coach's son" so he knows the game.

Well then you need to get some glasses. Fasano was a better blocker than Curtis...whom was rarely ever even asked to block.

This may also be a prelude to a change to an offense that features more FB. Garrett grew up with Cowboys with Moose leading Emmitt and we rarely used two TE sets. When we did use two TEs, one was basically a pure blocker. We may pick a pure blocking TE in the latter aspects of the draft and try to get one as a UDFA.

Agreed 100% about the change in direction on offense. The trade is Ok in my opinion. The 4th round pick is basically a low third round pick anyhow.

More time for Curtis alone makes this a reasonable deal. He has better hands and is quicker and showed much more desire than Fasano ever did. He'll need to work on his blocking and strength a bit.

Yeah, but we didn't get good value on this trade and Garrett may be a head coach after this season. If that happens, we will probably trade Curtis to him for a 7th.

We'll see if that holds true, considering the first day is only 2 rounds this year. The absolute cat bird seat is Miami's 3rd rounder, which i'd love to aquire if Miami wants Brohm, Henne or Flacco at the end of round 1.

I'd have been disappointed if it was Curtis instead of Fasano would had been traded with Ayodele.

Curtis has flashed some big time ability out on the field. Fasano, not so much.

Watch out for Fuzzy, Bob, and the Count....they're like the "Jets" of the board. Theogt is the lone "Shark".

I can see them practicing their dance routine right now.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't mind Ray Rice in the 2nd as well. Charles would be my other choice but I never got to see them much. Except for Charles where I saw him live for one game.

If you ask most Boys fans what they really thought of the pick before BP's BS explanation of the pick, I guarantee you that 98% of us didn't like the pick when it was called. Fasano has done nothing to distinguish himself during his two years here.

The one thing about that was the fourth use to be the start of the second day so teams had time to take a breath and settle their boards and pick out the talent that should have gone in the first day. Now the third round is the round to do that so its possible the early fourth won't be as good as in years past.

The thing that irks me the most about this trade.

I missed watching Battlestar G.

Luckily I recorded it on the DVR.

It was a complete shocker when his name was called. A shocker.
