Based upon what? His height? Dak may not be elite, but Dak is better than Jones in every category of quarterbacking except for rushing yards.

Now i think I MAY take Jones over Trey Lance.
Based on football. The whole league would.

Dak isn't elite, but he's been top 10 his whole career.... has Danny Dimes? Nope.... Dak has made All-Pro, has Danny Dimes? Nope.... Dak has gotten MVP considerations. Has Danny Dimes? Nope.

Dak has more yards, touchdowns, winning seasons, playoff wins, and a better winning percentage than Danny Dimes.

So what whole league would? Give me the links to the whole league saying they would take Danny Dimes over Dak.

Because from where I'm sitting, your logic isn't lining up with real life facts or production. So send me those links to put some credibility to your post.

I'll respectfully wait...

The Cowboys would NEVER do something like this.

This is admitting you’re wrong and committing to fixing it.

This is accountability.
Are you talking about being wrong about Dak? If so, this actually wouldn't be admitting they were wrong about Dak. All it would be admitting is Dak is out for the season and they aren't in a good place with the backups

Like the 9ers did with Lance.

Doesn;'t matter good bad sucks whatever. You decide and commit to parting ways. Firm clear decision to MOVE ON and start over. Might take a year or two. But you commit to something new and different, not double down on assured failure for the next whatever years.

Jerry admit a mistake? LOL.

That being said, we can't cut Dak now, the cap implications are crippling.
several teams have crippling Qb cap contracts. THEY admitted the mistake. You bail out, take the hit, and start your rebuild.

I just dont;l get this "oh we can't now!"

Um...yes we can.

Jerry won;t. He can afford it, we can suffer through just as bad as what we have now. *IF* we commit to the rebuild NOW.

2-3 years of rebuild? Or stay the course 2-3 years THEN rebuild. .

Which one is more painful to ya?

if he wants to be a starter, he'd have to go to a crap team.

I do think he could land as the #2 QB on a few contenders with half-decent or better OLines: SF, MIN, LAR, ARI, HOU,

OR he could just opt to take the rest of the season off to rest and rehab himself to make a push for a job next season

Dak is not top 10. That's just silly. He's popular with the fantasy football ilk because his garbage-time stats work just fine there, but on a real football field, he's below average.

This is the most frustrating part of this organization. Mistakes happen to even the best of front offices, but they eventually recognize them and move on. The clowns running this organization do the opposite. They stand pat and often times double down on their mistakes - like giving an average QB who hasn't accomplished anything of significance a record breaking contract and bringing back Zeke.

lol you took this as me wanting that loser Daniel Jones in Dallas?

No.

This is the Giants moving on from their loser QB instead of keeping up the charade. Something Dallas doesn't have the guts to do with Dak.

Jerry gets to emotionally attached to these losers and can't walk away.
