Dave and Busters.

Carr throws the ball better than Dak under easy conditions, that should be obvious to anyone watching. And people on here want to bash Carr because he was drafted first for an expansion team and ruined by starting behind a horrific line from day 1. But there is a reason the Texans drafted Carr number 1 overall. The guy is a very talented QB, and he'd probably throw better than a lot of guys who are currently starting in the NFL. But a bunch of our fans want to pretend that Dak is somehow superior to Carr because he has played on a team that's leaps and bounds better than the one Carr played for.

People here cry because Dak was sacked 6 times vs Atlanta, an AVERAGE game for Carr in 2002 was 4.75 sacks - as a rookie. If you want to know how to ruin a QB, that's a pretty good recipe right there. But it takes nothing away from Carr's ability to throw.

So why isn't Carr in the league? Why did his career end prematurely? Better yet,
The main reason being because everyone was so excited after his rookie year, his Soph year was a pretty big punch to the gut to a lot of us and I personally never expected it. Most of us probably figured that we had finally turned the corner only to have to endure another season of absolute crap and crap QB play. After this past season I now feel that we are more unsettled than at any point over the past 10 years and most of that feeling comes from not knowing whether we have a franchise QB or we don't.

Well you probably should've expected. Especially after his rookie campaign. He wasn't going to be better than he was in his rookie year. It rarely happens. Wentz and Goff played well their sophomore years...but they were also bad in their rookie campaigns so there was nothing but up to go from there.

I don't know what to think of Dak. I don't think anyone should know what to think of Dak. You can't say oh he's going to suck because of his sophomore year without acknowledging what he did in his rookie year. And you can't say he's going to be great without acknowledging what he did in his sophomore year. But like I stated above, there's no wait and see approach. There's a "he sucks and move on approach". He's been nothing but a professional here. Why are the Matthew Stafford's and the Joe Flacco's and the Jameis Winston's and the Marcus Mariotta's allowed to have bad or decent years but Dak has to be the greatest qb in the league in order to be afforded that same treatment? It's mind boggling to me.

Its mind boggling to me why a Cowboy fan wouldn't want Dak to work out.

You cannot compare the 2 QBs. Dak is not a gunslinger. He wasn't in college and he is not now. He's a run option QB more like Cam Newton than Romo. The problem is that garret is still trying to run the offense designed for a QB like Romo. The defenses that gave us fits this year would never play Romo as they played Dak daring him to throw to the sidelines and further down field. Its a conundrum. Dak does not have the arm talent, accuracy, or timing of Romo. But, he doesn't need to if the damm coaches would change a little.

Romo wasn't a gunslinger in 2014.....

As a matter of fact....Romo at the tail end of his career wasn't a gunslinger.

Cut him....
Screw it- let's take Chris Jones to QB. Kid's got unique situational awareness.
And... dude needs to be our FS. We've seen his last-man-standing skills enough to know he's a mass murderer.

I'm sorry, but it's true. He's just got IT.
And then I want him to hold out for a contract over OBJ's Super Contract he's about to sign.

The guy leads all 3 phases of the game, my brothers and sisters...

What I find funny is,

Everybody criticizes Dak for being a Check down Charlie. Then criticized him for missing the close throws in this little competition.

Dak with his “noodle arm” then hits the last two, and furthest targets away, before Carr does. And nobody seems to mention it.

Dak does need to work on his accuracy, but come on people this video means nothing.

I mean seriously, the tape is out there of him dropping dimes, into tight windows, down the field during his rookie season. But nobody seems to remember it. It’s as if it never happened.

You know you have nothing when you have to rely on a video of Dak playing a skills challenge equivalent to something you'd find at Chuck E Cheese in order to validate a moronic opinion of Dak. Its quite sad.

Oh noes!

David Carr was drafted 1st overall?

Hmmm....

Where was Dak drafted?

If Dak pans out, many of you are going to look so silly.... & of course you'll discreetly swap out your haterade for some peanut oil.

My question is why would Dak even attempt that challenge with camera rolling. The sentiment around the league was he is inaccurate QB who mostly benefited from Zeke. If anyone was on the fence they are no longer. Still why reinforce what most football fans suspected?

Dak has never struck me as an intelligent guy.

I think we should blow the bank on Foles. I mean, while we're making snap decisions & all. Let's lock him up.

After 2 years, there are some incredible tarot card readers that know Dak is done.

So let's lock up Foles. (Or Carr)

How about we do neither of those things?

See, I don't have a problem with a guy like Dak starting. My problem is the fact that the front office has handed the reigns over to him and has made him the unquestionable starter for 10 years..

I say he should earn it and not be dubbed the "franchize" QB just yet.

That video needs to be placed back into the NFL Films vault. It has served it's purpose.

HA!! Aside from everyone raving about his intelligence........why has he never struck you as a intelligent guy? Because he's not 6'6 with a cannon arm?

He earned it his rookie season. Only a idiot would get rid of him after the season he had his rookie year.

I'm gusssing we define the term differently. Romo could make all the throws. You think Murray does what he did facing loaded boxes every week?

Dak needs a offense he is comfortable in. not there yet
Foles is an example of that. the guy was in the pro bowl before and was a stud this year with an offense he was comfortable in.

In his press conferences, he just looks dull. He just looks stupid. Got those big teeth and funky eyes. Round head. Like a Goomba from the Super Mario Brothers movie. I see no spark there. He looks dumb as hell.

Ok so you define gunslinger as someone who could make all the throws? I don't.

But even then.....I don't recall Romo being able to make all the throws in 2014. Especially after the injuries.

So you'd rather him look smart like Carson Wentz or Jarod Goff? You have to be trolling. I'd like to think you are smarter than you are putting on here. With comments like these....I can't imagine you talking about anyones intelligence.
