But why did they jump up for a QB? I thought Carr was playing pretty good?

NE does the same thing. Green Bay has done it in the past. Develop these QBs, and then flip fem or a draft pick in a few years.

Tapper reminds me of an "Anthony Spencer-type" which ain't all bad.

Not at all, he's gonna be depth this year with a chance to start. But the best part about it is our defensive line depth isn't gonna be a bunch of scrubs this year.

Only real safety I think who could immediately challenge for a starting spot is Cash. But not sure if we value another box safety. But there are some good project safeties like Killebrew, Mills and Houston-Carson.

Mills would be good because he can play nickel corner as well as high safety.
