Again, if a player wraps up the ball carrier from behind and lands on his legs when he brings him down the same injury can occur and it is totally legal.

seriously.. any basic phsyics class will tell you that if you catch him from behind, anywhere above the waist, he is going to fall backwards, whether horse collar or not... it is the positioning of the feet in a fall like that which causes the injury...

it has nothing to do with whether a person is tackled with a horse collar or from the shoulders...

on the other hand chop blocks, your going straight at knees making them possibly move in directions they can't... it is a direct attack on the legs, unlike the horse collar, which is simply a method of taking a ball carrier down... your just getting a better grip on the player by going for the horse collar..

apparently he missed that little detail

and your right, nobody what he does he cant win...its so bad here now, I bet we have people that if given the choice of:

1) Favre or Brady throwing a game winning TD in an area occupied by RW in the NFC Champ or Super Bowl

or

2) RW picking off said play and going 100 yds the other way to clinch a championship

alot of really ignorant folks here would prefer #1, so they can say "I'm right!!!! he sux!!!! see!!!!"

Because Davis sucks.. and Patrick Watkins played FS last year and it is his natural position... he was just too young last year and he is obviously showing skills...

Except the blocker missed him, watch the video. Reeves is in position to make the play and Roy commits a flagrant personal foul penalty.

This has nothing to do with Roy 'winning', its him making a very foolish choice.
