Dak needs to be ALL IN by giving a discount. $40 - $45 million / year is more than enough for any franchise QB. Help the team be ALL IN, Dak, like they helped you 3 years ago! Time to return the favor.
ok, lets say he goes that much. what are you going to do now? any FAs that we want to sign that are worth the money? how many players can you sign to improve the team. people forget you get a bunch of average over priced players or good players who are really over priced. so you get to sign one FA. is that enough to put you over the top?

the problem is not the money. its personnel management. we suck at it.

Daks has been already overpaid once heck even Jerry said he was overpaid.
Do you want part Deux?
Ha ha ha looking like you're going to have to wait a whole season to see if he has earned it?
GL gotta a feeling you will need it bud!
so have 14 other QBs. welcome to NFL son

Nah, Dak is plenty of good. He just needs a better Oline, a running attack and another legit weapon at WR. Oh, and for certain passing routes to be better designed so it can better help our WRs and QB.
so basically he needs 10 pro bowlers on offense surrounding him and then maybe, MAYBE he can get this team out of the wildcard round?

We need a new QB.

So Baker isn't worth 30 but Dak is worth 60? Baker took his team down to the wire in the Divisional round while Dak...well we all saw what Dak did in the WC round against the 7 seed.
I didn’t say anything about Dak you guys just can’t resist lol.

Playoff performances don’t determine how much a guy should get paid. So you believe Baker should be paid more than Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert? Baker beat a sorry Eagles team.

So what does determine what he's paid.....because throughout this (and most) threads Dak Regardless Fans are stating he should be paid market setting amount. Let him play out the 2024 (behind the 'same gang') and he'll see what the 'market' will pay him.....maybe he'll enjoy the remnants, after needy teams feed on this year's pretty much stacked QB draft.

It was a deflection from the moment Jerry Jones uttered it. It is his standard M.O. trying to shut down further questioning for how he will proceed as general manager.

I do credit more folks with microphones continually questioning him for details. Further questioning always shifts him into spin mode. Spin, spin, spin. Rarely anything substantive comes out of his mouth during his spin cycle.
"We will be working on different players and drafting different people," Owner Jones said. "Just the very nature of it is different. Different people — we have different coaches. I think the attention that our nuances of where we are with the cap, the nuances of where we are with our position in the draft, the nuances of where we are with our free agents – we get that involved with the definition of being 'all in.' "When you look at those aspects, we will be looking at every solution towards winning this year."

An embarrassing, rambling word salad where he essentially says nothing. Apparently he’s trying to keep the suckers on the hook while promising a whole bunch of nothing. I just hope that fans see through the smoke and realize that the Emperor has no clothes.

I agree he'll be here in 2024....but how does him walking in 2025 make our CAP situation worse? Indeed, it may well be a scenario of Dak finding the top money....in Wahington, fine go chase the money. If Dak's only consideration is money, fine, but don't expect us to kill our near future to give him a last chance to win in Dallas.....if he wants it earn it.

Right but in the agents and daks eyes he has. Whether you or o agree dak will be paid like a top franchise quarterback if not here somewhere else.

And you think Dak cares about that?
Dak already knows hes never leading us to a SB. He knows he cant
He will get the max money he can
These kinds of deductions on a guy who was 2nd in NFL MVP are truly entertaining.

So you're a 'me first' kind of person.

You're going to get your wish because Dak is definitely only in this for himself.

No, I’m a get as much money as possible while playing a brutal sport for a short period of time guy. So many people sit on a keyboard and give out financial advice as if they wouldn’t seek out the most possible money in their own professions.

Frauds- which is ironic because that’s what they call dak. I guess art does imitate life in this regard

It is also coming from not having a complete plan of action consisting of targeted goals in my opinion. How can you give examples, even generalizations of examples, if you, the general manager, have not formulated anything yet?

The man is just reactionary. Pose a question. He spits out an answer. Does not matter that the answer is gobbly-guck. The important thing is that he gave an answer and that should be good enough for everyone.

And nothing is stopping him from saying, "We are in the planning stages and will not comment on who we are adding to the roster at this time." Nope. Jones will bedazzle you with saying a whole lot of nothing instead. That's Pro Football Hall of Fame GM talk right there. It's surprising he does not credit Tex Schramm for advising him how to talk to the media during the offseason, lol.
