I've seen it change the whole dynamic of a season for a team, right there that one thing. Get hit smack in the backfield, spun off, run over another guy and made the first down and from then on it was ..

Bottom line is Parcells himself said that he reined in Julius. I feel that he might be a better back if he was "unreined". Nothing you say can change my mind about that.
You already have your mind made up that Julius will not be a good back under Wade Phillips. You have nothing to base that on, since you have never seen Julius play under Wade Phillips' coaching. I haven't either, but I am eager and willing to wait and see. You have already made your mind up. Yep, way to have no tolerence for "made-up crap."

Your problem is that i remember the presser in question as well. He was talking about reigning julius in because he was giving up on the play to early and not trusting his blockers. Thiat was actually been Parcells theme for the last two years. You are saying that you remember something that Parcells ahs babbled on about for two seasons and acting like we should care.

What you dont get is two things. First:

YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT WAS ACTUALLY COACHED

As such you saying that you have any idea what Parcells told julius or Lynn or whoever is bogus. You dont so quit acting like you do. You know one familiar story line Parcells told the press for a year.

Second, he was tlaking about this at the beginning of last year and the year before that. If Parcells saying this in his pressers ruined Jones how do you explain Jones coming out of training camp on absolute fire and on pace for 1500 yards. He just grabbed julius before week 9 and told him to quit running through the hole the play is designed for and into your blocker if it looks like a backer or safety may be coming up?

sorry but your fantasy land delusions of Parcells destroying Jones have no basis.

If you think im a JJ hater because i dont think hes god then more power to you. I feel im a realist in that if he gets no mre than 15 carries in a game hell end up with a YPC upwards of 5 but if you go over that hes just going to be more of what we have already seen.

or maybe it was because our defense couldnt stop anyone for anything so we ended up running the ball maybe 4 times a game (saints come to mind)

Or Maybe its just that u look for every fact to say julius isnt a good back, and ignore the reasons why he is, and can be a better back this year.

Most RB's dont get better after 15 carries, in fact most RB's YPC drop after 15 carries, unless they break a big one for a TD. So to say julius isnt good because he does wat almost every RB does, is just plain silly
