A 5th rounder is the expected compensation for a 29 year old, always hurt, gadget player with a $20M+ cap hit.

He’s declined every year since 2021, and I feel like Shanny elevated him.

It’s interesting that no one cares about $21m for Deebo because it’s just a 5th round pick, but it’s too much for OSA who doesn’t require a draft pick at all.

Mingo was a horrible trade and he shouldn’t even be guaranteed a roster spot this year. Comparing it to the Deebo trade is just odd as its two completely different situations. One is a bad player/good contract the other is a good player/bad contract.

He played 15 games but he was hurt and just played in some of those games. His body has been breaking down.

49ers were going to cut him. They had no intentions of having him on the books for next year. So to get a 5th for a guy they were gonna cut? A W.

Deebo is not a good fun receiver to just utilize as a route runner. His value is his running ability as well.

For Commanders it’s not terrible but I would’ve held out for a better receiver.

You’re assuming Washington is done acquiring wide receivers before the start of next season.
