Deep Passes Dak and Mahomes

The receiver (TE) was on the right sideline similar to the Gallup play but the KC TE was even more open.

QBs do miss deep passes...

Every QB misses passes but Cowboys QBs have to be perfect in the eyes or the media and Cowboys fans. #NoLogic

Dak is the most crticized QB of the NFL and the dude has a winning record. People are never satisfied. It's baffling. Year 3, young and developing. What do peole not get about that.

Who are you? The comparison that you drew wasn't any where close to what Xwalker referenced. Stop with the exaggeration that stretches a point made...and then rushing to insult. Not all that Dak does is out of a similar ball park...not as bright through the season, but relevant tendencies and stats are improving quickly. That is the direction being pushed towards, not 'prima donna' land.

Mahomes 264 completions, 67.5% completion, 3628 yards, 9.28 yards/attempt, 37 pass TDs, 17 (int/fumbles combined)

Prescott 243 completions, 66.8% completion, 2675 yards, 7.35 yards/attempt, 14 pass TDs, 16 (int/fumbles combined)

You're going to compare Mahomes to Dak because Mahomes missed a pass, but he misses passes by actually throwing the ball instead of settling for checkdowns. Settles for checkdowns and still takes more sacks, fumbles, and a lower completion percentage.

By definition the QB I posted for comparison on the 1 (one) deep pass had to be one with better stats and a better rating by fans/media.

I would not post that Brandon Weeden missed a deep pass.

Dak is not a dink-and-dunk QB unless you also consider Tom Brady to be a dink-and-dunk QB.

It’s his 3rd season. You are what you are by now.

Dak does best with quick throws.

He struggles on passes over 20 yds.

He holds the ball too long and rarely throws it away.

He can’t throw a back shoulder fade and rarely throws a slant.
