Against a 3rd string quarterback on a bottom-feeder team.

That 3rd string QB is playing better than Bradford or Hill has. Let him have some experience seeing what NFL defenses are doing to him and I think he's going to be good.

Not arguing about anything, just stating that I think he is a good one.

No arguments, so far, so good with him. He may have a future (and Bradford might not!)

But we'll have to see how he fares against good defenses too.

Yes, for a guy that was undrafted and has bounced around a little, he looked pretty good to me as well.

I watched the NFL Rewind Tuesday night of the Rams game.

Offense looks good, .. the defense scares me to death.

Poor tackling, .. many many yards after contact.
Can't pressure the QB.
DB's still playing way off of WR's.
The team started slow.

All part of a recipe to lose close games.

I've still got my fingers crossed, .. but I'm not feeling confident yet.

Is there an award for the most consistently annoying poster on this site?

Sorry if the truth hurts, there's always Ignore.

That way you can censor reality to suit whatever it is you want to believe.

Cover your ears, cover your eyes, filter your results.

Annoying, oddly, is still entertaining to me. I really hope we have a good season. I am honestly very curious to see certain posters reactions. As others have said its more enjoyable to me to be positive about my team. Others do Whatever makes them happy. Or angry or whatever. It's what makes the world go around.

My other team is The Kentucky Wildcats.
We don't have "realists"fans". Just opposing fans to debate with. So it's interesting.

No 'right' or 'wrong' way to be a fan, different strokes for different folks.

I hope we have a good season too, despite what may be perceived by some as a 'gloom and doom' attitude on my part.

I'm a true fan, but I call it like I see it, and this organization has let me down far too often recently to get the benefit of the doubt from me.

I hope for the best while fearing the worst.

I feel this argument has been thoroughly covered. Congrats on knowing your team isn't good. I'll wait and see.

I had a good feeling we'd come back and win Sunday after the first half field goal. I enjoyed that feeling. Maybe you enjoyed knowing we couldn't.

We'll both have to wait and see. And for the record, I don't claim to 'know' anything. If I had that ability, I'd be using it on lottery numbers and not football games!

Contrary to what you might think, I don't revel in this team losing or in being disappointed.

But I'm well past thinking "the sun'll come out tomorrow" or forcing myself to believe that this franchise is good right now.

Just curious. The guys saying same old same old and lucky to go 8-8 again...are you the same ones that were predicting 5-11 at the start of the year?
believe I said 6-10 unless Romo is down to injury then 4-12

I really don't know what's expected from this defense, especially given the talent that's on our team. San Fran went scoreless against us in their second half and the Titans were scoreless against us in their first half. Against the Rams, the defense held them despite the offense spotting them 14 points and even capped the game off with a Carter turnover for a score and a Claiborne interception to seal the game. On the other hand, Eli and the Giants just dropped 45 on the Commanders. The Commanders and Eagles were in a shoot-out prior. The Chargers dropped 30 on the Seahawks, who are arguably the best defense in the league. Make no mistake about it, there will be games that this offense will get decimated, but given the talent that's available here, they've been performing quite well.

I agree, I have seen plenty of Bradford and quite frankly I think Davis has the tools to challenge. People can holler 3rd string QB but I know a UDFA who was once nothing more than a 3rd string QB stuck behind some pretty bad QB until he got his chance.

I predict we could go 3 and 1 Sunday night

http://i701.***BLOCKED***/albums/ww15/joost5/misc/jaredAllen-joost5-mullet.gif?w=600

And you are correct... we could go 3-1.

Just bustin' your chops man. I know what you meant.
