i look at teams like the Broncos and feel like the cowboys won't be in the Super Bowl anytime soon. The franchise lost the plot

Watching these past few superbowls and still nobody sees that you win championships with an elite defense.

I'm all in on getting this defense corrected and a top 5 elite unit.

A 39 year old QB had 140 yards 0 TDs and an interception and won because of that defense he has.


Let's reach for a rookie QB though

that D was partly due to our ball offense which forced teams to take risks and thats the reason why we had all those TOs.without Romo we revert back to the dregs of the league.His failure to improve Dt play is unforgivable,i wish he would just retire.

Denver won a SB this year because they didn't stick to their plan. They adjusted their plan and fired their HC who got them to the SB and got a new regime in. After getting their butt kicked by Seahawks in the SB, they realized they had to make changes.


Denver won a SB with their first year HC and had a #1 defense playing in Wade's system for one year. So much for continuity.

Cowboys WERE building an elite defense, but Romo gets injured and Cowboys offense goes into toilet, but the defensive minded HC that gets the axe. Same coach that just coached one of the greatest displays of defense in the history of the NFL.

Fractured history...like Bulwinkle the Moose. Defensive changes were brought in last season, and matured under Wade.

You said reaching for a rooke QB (at #4). Because you want an Elite defense. As in "'I'm all in on getting this defense corrected and a top 5 elite unit." All in, but you don't want to use the #4 on defense?

I agree. This defense isn't too far from being elite. Need some other players but with free agency and draft, maybe even a trade we should secure some good defensive talent

Read carefully I'm all in on getting a top 5 elite defense. If defensive player is at 4 take him but there is more then the draft and pick 4 when it comes to upgrading defense. .....ever heard of free agency
