Deon Sanders is an idiot.
Hell he was always an idiot.
Hell he was always an idiot.
JMO but that is on the coaching staff not TO. The inability of the coaching staff to develop a legit WR threat allowed defensive cordinators to jam TO and have a safety over the top to protect against the deep pattern. All the CB's could sell out trying to jam TO without the threat of getting burned deep. It's no surprise TO struggled given the defenses he had to go against.41gy#;2598552 said:Owens couldn't get off the jam (consistently), and the other team's best cornerbacks shut him down.

Let's just get his head back in the game and we should return to a similar 2007 form, if not better even, and be pretty close to where we want to be.

The hosts of the Show asked Deion Sanders what our record would be if we cut Terrell Owens. Deion Sanders said we would be 8-8. One of the Co-host promptly asked him what the big difference between 8-8 and 9-7.
Deion Sanders quickly changed his mind and stated that we would be 6-10 if we released Terrell Owens.
He also made it very clear that he felt Tony Romo was the main problem and not Wade Philips, Jerry Jones, Jason Garrett or Terrell Owens.
Deion is half right. Cutting Owens wont IMPROVE their record but Romo being the MAIN problem is laughable.Maikeru-sama;2598378 said:On the way back home, I heard Deion Sanders on The Fan talking Cowboys.

...yes he was on his knees for TO as usual but they asked Deion "if he thought it was on Tony..TO..or Garrett?"...and he said is was on all of them....he didnt put it on Romo...he didnt say TO wasnt at fault either ..he just said it wasnt all on TO....that Romo and Garrett should share the blame.....he thought the main reason for the struggling O was that others caught on to Garrett's scheme.....
so I took it as he blames Garrett the most......not that it matters....I mean he took Pacmans side as well....

I always thought Deion was respectable.
But he did take a huge hit in my book when he spent all that time with Pacman and then thought he was a good option for the Cowboys.
He couldn't tell the kid was nothing more than a screw up who didn't have his mind right?
That told me that he's more about doing things to get the spotlight on him rather the words coming out of his mouth.
Deion is trying to say Larry Fitzgerald can't take a slant 90 yards? I have no doubt Fitz is a better WR right now than Terrell Owens.
Breaston isn't better than Roy Williams.
I love how Deion says there isn't anything wrong. We just had a bad year. We will be back on top next season just like in 2007.
Oh wait. What happened in 2007 again? We didn't do anything.
Deion = Wade Phillips. He really makes himself look a little silly in here.
Can someone get me a pic of Wade and Jerry holding up the Lombardi after winning Super Bowl XLII.
Did he just say that the Cowboys should keep Pacman in the mix?
*** is he talking about.
Wow. He is really making himself sound stupid.

You better have enjoyed it, because it probably isn't going to get better in 2009, unless some things change on this team and in this organization.
