I promise not to show this post to my wife.Yoshimitsu;2599774 said:Damn Hos i love you.
T.O. is just too much baggage in the locker room.
This team needs a low key approach. People in the locker room will soon get tired of this circus. With T.O. they are constantly in the media spotlight.

This guy is such a clown and a joke. How can anyone take what he says seriously?
Players have zero say on which of their former clubs they will be enshrined with and players's Hall of Fame biographies identify all clubs which someone played for. However, the Hall will CAPITALIZE the name of the team which they will determine was impacted most by the player being enshrined.Fletch;2600131 said:Let's all hope and pray this idiot decides to be inducted into the HOF as a 49er. Don't want his a** going in as a Dallas Cowboy.

In my opinion, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors will hang that distinction on San Francisco where he spent the majority of his career amassing the lion's share of his receiving yards and touchdowns. I doubt they would change that distinction even if he had helped win a Super Bowl with the Eagles or possibly help Dallas accomplish that feat.visionary;2600592 said:i guess that will be a tough decision because he destroyed all 3 teams he played for.

I'm as upset as anyone we finish 9-7, but how can you believe cutting one of our best players improves us?
This management team (owner/gm/coaching staff) needs to change a few things without a doubt.
We need to practice harder, we need more discipline and of course we need to play more as a team.
This has to start with the MANAGEMENT TEAM. They have to do it.
If they can't do it with Owens, they won't pull it off without him.
If you want to tell me we need a new coaching staff, OK.
If you think Jerry needs to take a couple steps back and hire a GM, fine.
I just can't get my hands around this release Owens and all is well in the Cowboyland idea.
If Terrel Owens is that powerful a force. Then we need to find a way to control it, channel it. Maybe the Cowboys can end famine or cure cancer.

The point is that he's one player and one player doesn't win a football game, but one player can divide a locker room and create turmoil with his fat mouth.
If the locker isn't divided we have a better shot at being a more 'in tune' team.
If the locker room isn't distracted by having extra 'team meetings' then they can focus more on their opponents.
It's like some people are so afraid that this team is going to be 0-16 if we lose him.
Here's some info people.
He could step out there on the field in August and blow his knee out.
Then what?
The decision has to be weighed on whether or not his production is worth his BS. That's a very tough decision because he is still a very good player.
But again, one player isn't being here or not being here isn't going to determine whether this team wins of loses football games.
And if you want to list in order the 'positions' that can even be discussed as being the most important in giving the team a better chance of winning or losing football games the WR position doesn't even get in the top three.
1. QB - There isn't even a question.
2. LT - If he stinks the QB will stink.
3. CB/Pass rush OLB - If these two spots are horrible you can forget about stopping anyone.
If the #1 WR goes down there are still other guys on offense to catch the football. And if I remember correctly we are paying another WR on this roster '#1 WR money'.
Add in the fact that we have three very good RB's, a solid #3 WR and an All World TE you can't possibly think there aren't enough weapons for Romo.

Do you think T.O. will be back to the Cowboys?
Adam Schefter, NFL Network
At first I thought the Cowboys couldn't afford to cut T.O. and eat $9.675 million against the salary cap. But after talking to some people in Dallas, I now think the opposite. I think the Cowboys have their mouths open wide and are about to dig in. I think T.O. is going to be sent packing. It's a bold move. He still caught 10 touchdowns last year. But they really believe his minuses outweigh his plusses, which is why I think he's a goner.

punchnjudy;2600716 said:I could see that happening if some of the reports we're hearing are true. If TO has truly divided the lockerroom, that won't end if he's cut. Philly fell apart the year after they cut TO, and a lot of people said their lockerroom was still split after he left because many of his teammates still felt he was right, or something to that effect. I could see that happening here, especially if the team started to struggle.
If it were me, I'd do what Irvin suggested - bring him back but make it clear that if he whines, and especilially if he whines publicly, he's cut. Then if he were cut, at least more guys in the lockerroom would feel like he got a fair shot, and it wouldn't bring the same backlash from the players.
