This is what I said back on Draft Day. Deuce is so talented, he's going to shine behind our starting Oline. Cowboys need to be careful and protect him though. Running back by committee would be best for Pollard, Deuce and whoever else the Cowboys decide to keep as their 3rd RB, plus likely a FB as well.
OL by Committee is a recipe for disaster.

You’d think we’d of learned our lessons with RB and WR by Committee.

On the OL by committee, agreed.

On the RB by committee, disagree. This is not the RBs committee of the past. They all have their talents, but they still need to be used by committee because there is no true big RB who can physically handle a majority of the carries. A committee approach would be best both for the Offense and the players. It also could work to keep opposing Defenses guessing.

May not have to root too hard. He could be a Diamond in the rough.
I don't think he is rough at all, Deuce is on the same curve as all rookie RBs in this league, and that curve is not a huge transition for RBs.
His diminutive size is DVs strength, and I mean that in mental strength especially.
You are seeing a rookie RB basically in their prime already because it just the way DV is wired, he had to play his best game, better than anyone else, not only to survive but to be the best he can be.
He has been practicing excellence his entire life.

The problem with that is you cannot run do spawn into the ground like that that's stupid that's why you call it running back by committee you try to figure out how many snaps each back can truly handle and make it into the postseason fresher and healthier.. This is why fans who try to become GM's and coaches need to just stop you cannot put that much pressure on deuce fawn I like him and I hope they find a way to use him where he helps the Dallas Cowboys but I can promise you they cannot overuse any of these backs they're gonna have to bring Rico and or Malik Davis to play special teams anyway they were already be on the active game day roster I don't know if you noticed but that's what their primary jobs are so the backs are already here they're just not being utilized they were brought three backs to every game last year I can see them bringing four this year depending on the game and the team that we're playing. You do not run deuce Vaughn into the ground that's just not smart football.. So let's keep it in perspective running back by committee means there's gonna be a different way this coaching staff uses all of our running backs and tight ends this year in the run game and the pass game hopefully they disguise it enough you're not gonna know what's coming
Correct: All that you said is stipulated in today's NFL. RB by committee is the new norm, the Emmitt Smith days were over long ago.

I was referring to RB by Committee in 2015 . Not this year.

Deuce Vaughn at ground level and how hard he was to find running behind our much bigger Oline. Kind of like how Barry Sanders used to do...
:omg::flagwave:

I’m not sure about the Sanders comparison . I’d be leaning more to the Sproyles likeness.

But regardless it has potential to be something special. He also could be a threat receiving in open field and punt returns .

Imagine lining up Deuce and Pollard on either side of our QB, then set one in motion? That would cause a major mismatch against opposing Defenses.

Why? Who looses their spot because of him. Im done debating you guys.
You provide zero logistics on where he fits. You just homer out amd say he makes it.
Its like having a discussion with a flat earther.
I'll let you jock sniff on him for two more games.
See ya in two weeks.

He “fits” at RB lmao.

One of the RBs not named Pollard is who he makes it over. This isn’t rocket science.

I chuckle when I see fans and even the local Dallas media say things like he's "got a chance", "he might make the team," "he might be the 3rd rb." It just shows u either how ignorant they are or how much they are hating on the kid because of his height. The guy literally dominated a big conference against NFL talent for 4 years. What about his durability and the fact he never gets hurt? It blows my mind how that is being ignored and dismissed. Its really disrespectful of him. He will be the offensive rookie of the year if we use him right. I am sticking to it. If he stays healthy and we use him right, he will shock everyone except some of us here. The film never lies.
