I got you...It may have been a normal argument in their lives and police may never have been involved. But I think most rational people, as we discussed above, would just walk away. At least in his position walking away is the prudent thing. Heck I don't like any bad arguments around my kids and if its even minor I remove myself to another room when I can feel we are starting to get on each other's nerves. Not that we fight much.. but in the normal marriage setting. That's where I see trouble in him...his switch is a little different and he is strung tight.

You're right, most rational people would walk away. My parents rarely fought around me as a child. Although I'd always hear long discussions coming from their room when they were trying to go to sleep at night. :laugh2:

In a sense I sort of feel bad that he's dealt with a mother who is draining the life out of him. It looks and sounded like a vindictive move made by his mother. I feel like I have to say it again, he shouldn't have touched his mother, but I can see her being the type of person that is gifted at driving someone insane through their life draining ways. It's a crappy situation in more than one way.

You're absolutely right though. He should have walked away sooner. But hindsight is always 20/20.

Probably not, but he did. College football is a huge source of revenue for academic institutions. Especially state schools, where the tuition is lower. Some schools athletic programs have higher academic standards. He got into OSU fair and square, don't go knocking him for that now. Good for him.

She wants money. She has a history of drug addiction. She should be in prison for spending her money on drugs instead of feeding her children.

Not saying what Dez did was "ok", but I can see a strung out crackhead getting physical because he turned her down for money and he had to defend himself, whether it was his kin or not.

Hopefully he'll be smart enough to just cut ties with her and leave her in the gutter where she belongs. Who could do that though? It's a ****ty situation for Dez, that's for sure.

Ok, lets play. How do you know his mother didn't have the same up bringing or his grand mother? So if we look at it from that veiw point is it her fault?
She simply didn't know better. Just like he doesn't.
I doubt she came from Belair. It sounds to me like he has had the best chance of all of them to make the change.
