i don't know what story you're reading. have you read the police report without the information being filtered? if so, is that information subject to change?

also, it's speculative not contrary to come up with different scenarios using facts from the past and present. if you speculate based on FACTS so be it. if you speculate based on RUMORS shame on you. no one has speculated based on rumors, only facts.

If the story told to the police was inconsistent as you note they likely wouldn't have acted. Even the police are describing this as straightforward -- not the complex story you are choosing to believe.

No, all his mother has to do is walk over to the magistrate and file a complaint under oath. If the magistrate believes there is any substance at all the complaint, a warrant is issued on spot. The magistrate can even overrule the investigating officer.

Even if the police are not called or do not make an arrest on the scene, the victim can initiate criminal charges by going to the city or county courthouse (depending on where the victim lives) and swearing out a complaint before the court, a warrant officer, or a clerk– magistrate. The warrant will then be turned over to a police officer or the sheriff who will then arrest the abuse. I've clearly noted the relevant facts below. Players are told repeatedly to avoid situations that could lead to trouble. Dez failed to do that (twice now this off season, in fact) and has been arrested.

You can try to play the "maybe this and maybe that" card, but it is clear that Dez cannot seem to keep himself out of trouble.
