I'm "blame" Dez for not being a better receiver.

For not coming close to earning his paycheck.

For not being the threat he's being paid to be.

For not being engaged in every play or running every route the way it's drawn up.

For not knowing more routes than the few he does, and not bothering to continue to learn.

Those I "blame" him for.
So you blame him for a bunch of garbage that you made up and are attempting to project on him to fit your agenda... I see.
If you would have just left it with statistical production you wouldn't look so goofy. But you have to add the rest.
What do you know about how Dez;s routes are drawn up? Please tell us....
What do you know about how many routes Dez knows? Please please give us your source on the coaching staff that backs this up...

You are failing to admit that your selected stats don't fully support your position in this instance. But by all means, blame me.

They "fully support" everything they need to.

5th in salary, 43rd in production.

But you go on and keep grasping at straws for more attempted excuses.

This isn't where Julio Jones sits:

11 Julio Jones

Again, with Dez at 43.

Here are the total numbers, since you obviously don't know.

Come on man. Have you not read this thread. We are clearly talking about creating separation. Just read the thread title. Its not that difficult.
Or are you avoiding this because it doesn't fit your agenda?
I think I know.
btw...im pretty sure the Falcons would give up Julios extra 100 yards for Dez's 3 extra TD's.

Google any account from any of the many, many cornerbacks that regaularly shut him down. Let them tell you. But you won't, because you can't handle the truth of this situation.

It's alway excuses with some fans.

Your measure of production is limited and I'll explain it to you in simple terms. 1. It is cherry picking. 6 games is too small a sample to make a statistical conclusion. If you disagree then we can point to the last 10 games of 2016 and it will tell you a different story. 2. You don't take into account outside factors like how many times the throw was technically thrown to him but wasn't catchable. You would need to know that for all of the receivers you are comparing him to and you aren't using any of that data. 3. You aren't taking into account how defenses react to his presence on the field. How many times is attention paid to him that allows others to succeed? I don't know that answer, but I do know the stat you are using for production isn't taking any of that into consideration.

Yet ranking a player by salary should take all of that into consideration. To summarize, Dez may be overpaid but you certainly haven't proven it yet.

I've read the thread plenty. And I see how pathetic it truly is.

Some fans have to now point to "separation numbers" as the latest attempted excuse for why Dez Bryant isn't the underachiever he obviously is.

Now it's "imaginary numbers" thrown out by some spreadsheet nerd who probably never played a down of football in his life.

It's pathetic.

But meanwhile, the SuperFans rush to his defense, pointing to anything and anyone else in a vain attempt to put perfume on this pig. And now resort to pointing to some totally worthless numbers to somehow offset the real, tangible, important ones.

No shame.

So some other teams CB's said Dez doesn't run the routes that are drawn up now?
Since you are so smart how about showing me this link.
You wont. You say stupid crap and then when you cant back it up you get defensive and your post start falling apart.
How about you google for us this nonsense where someone talks about how many routed Dez knows.
You should like a fool.

They're the 2017 numbers! The only ones that count! You pathetically want to point to past numbers to justify what's actually happening in a season that counts? That's just sad. While we're doing that, let's call Jerry Rice about coming back. He had great numbers in the past too, maybe they'll matter this year too?

2. You don't take into account outside factors like how many times the throw was technically thrown to him but wasn't catchable. You would need to know that for all of the receivers you are comparing him to and you aren't using any of that data.

And I won't, that's a game for losers. I also won't go back to how many times the guy ran his route improperly either. I'll deal in what is and not what if.

3. You aren't taking into account how defenses react to his presence on the field. How many times is attention paid to him that allows others to succeed? I don't know that answer, but I do know the stat you are using for production isn't taking any of that into consideration.

So it's your latest attempt at grasping at straws. You don't think that the other, far more productive receivers are getting that same amount of "attention"? Antonio Brown? Never heard of him! Julio Jones? Who's that? Hopkins who? AJ what's his name? Forget about it! But that Dez Bryant, we have to triple cover that guy, he'll kill us! And forget about Zeke Elliott and the best offensive line in football, he only led the league in rushing last year. We just have to stop that Dez Bryant!

I mean wow...

Yet ranking a player by salary should take all of that into consideration. To summarize, Dez may be overpaid but you certainly haven't proven it yet.

To someone like you maybe, but I don't need to try. Anyone and everyone else can see it for what it is. If you can't, it's not my issue, it's yours.
