Sorry man. I'm bored with you now.
I have some real work to get done. I've had my fun for the day making you look foolish again.
Thanks for the comedic relief again.

Yeah, "I'm the guy who looks foolish" here.

I'm incredibly comfortable putting yet another of your ridiculous, unsupported claims to a vote.

You'd better get back to the grill.

Receptions alone is how you measure production?

This is elementary analysis. Certainly you can at least graduate to high school level of rigor. Right?

We can talk about any number of the poor numbers. But go ahead and get to pointing to TD's on those 50-50 passes they insist on throwing him. Best to get the one thing you can point to out of the way early.

And any amateur statistician will tell you that stats don't mean anything without context

No, the homers will tell me that. Because, as I've stated the stats don't say what they want them to say.

Shoot the messenger because you can't bear to hear the message.

Haha...
Pretty funny grill bit this time. I'll give you credit for that part.
The part about putting my ridiculous unsupported claims to a vote is where you fell apart again.
Which claims? I haven't made any claims. It was you making claims that Dez doesn't know how to run the routes as they are drawn up that was both ridiculous and unsupported.
Do you already know that I haven't made claims or are you trying to fight with so many people at the same time you cant keep track of who you are fighting with on any given post.

So your argument is context doesn't matter because it's an argument homers sometimes make?

Stash has about 8 different posters he is fighting with at the same time here.
Its kind of funny because he still thinks he is right and he feels he is doing such a great job supporting his claims.
Good times at the Zone.

I'll post it as many times as you need me to, again from the corner that's owned him for the past two years:

Supported. Again.

You've made plenty against me, claiming that I'm failing to back up what I'm saying, despite the fact that everyone else can see for themselves that I've supported everything I've said with facts and stats.

Meanwhile, you've continued to lie about everything that's happened and trying to project your own failings on someone else. The fact is the matter is that it's you who's tried to dispute everything that smarter people have brought to this debate while bringing nothing to it yourself. Absolutely nothing. Again, other than your repeated false claims otherwise. You're really awful at this.

It's a lame, poor, tired tactic that they resort to when the numbers and production show them things they don't want to hear or can't bear to see.

Just like 3-3 does.

If you want to put yourself in that category, that's your choice. I can't and won't stop you.

But the only thing you will succeed in doing is indicting your own credibility.

Bryant has never been paid to be a 100 catch a year receiver.

He actually had gotten the better of Jenkins quite a bit in the game this season if not for dak misfires.

You ignore the fact he is and was paid to be a top redzone threat in the NFL. Thats what he was when he got paid thats what he is now.

He's "been paid" to be a Top 5 receiver - and he has failed to deliver on that.

He actually had gotten the better of Jenkins quite a bit in the game this season if not for dak misfires.

And there it is! The excuse ladies and gentlemen!

You ignore the fact he is and was paid to be a top redzone threat in the NFL. Thats what he was when he got paid thats what he is now.

If anyone is "ignoring" anything, it's those "ignoring" the fact that he's the 5th highest paid receiver in the league, tied for the 9th most targets, with the 43rd rank in yardage.

"Ignore" that if you want to, but spare anyone else of your burden.

Call whatever "BS" you want.

But the real "BS" is making excuses.

The fact is that Bryant is tied for 9th in targets so he's getting more than enough opportunity to produce, he's simply not producing with those opportunities. Those are the facts. The rest is "BS".

https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/player-stat/receiving-targeted

It's absurd to say that targets = opportunities. Many (most) of the incomplete targets were not genuine opportunities, either because they were bad passes, or in most of the cases, they were actually closer to passes that were thrown away in his direction more than an actual attempt.

So context doesn't matter? Then you literally don't understand statistics.

Seriously? What is this? Bizarro World that I've stumbled into today?

Do fans have no shame?

Maybe instead of posting a story that misses the point you think its making you should look for a real way to backup your claims.

Here are your claims (remember I didn't make claims, only state that you haven't proven yours):

For not being engaged in every play or running every route the way it's drawn up.

For not knowing more routes than the few he does, and not bothering to continue to learn.

An article and quote from Janoris J doesn't prove either of these claims. Where did Janoris say Dez isn't engaged in plays? Where did he or anyone say anything about Dez not running routes the way they are drawn up. Janoris doesn't know how a route is drawn up for Dez. Where does Janoris say Dez doesn't know more routes? You realize he runs the plays that are called right? Where does he say Dez doesn't bother learning more routes?

You have failed to backup any of these claims. Janoris knowing which routes our best receiver is going to run says a lot about our offensive play calling. Not as much about Dez as you want to think.

I realize you think you are super smart. The reality is you spouted off a bunch of nonsense that you projected onto Dez and you can't back it up.

I'll give you another shot at it.

Maybe we can put to rest that Dez is horrible at his job?

Also it appears from week 9-17 last year that Dak had a 117 qb rating on throws to Dez (thanks @percyhoward). So was Dez washed up then or did that just happen this offseason? Or maybe it's early and we should chill out?
You're welcome. But two big differences between this year's first six games and last year's are 1)Dez isn't injured this year (that we know of), so 2)Dez is getting a much larger share of the targets this year.

So your contention is that anytime something is recorded as a target that it is a legitimate opportunity for the receiver to make a play?

Dak had to spike a pass into Zeke's feet on Sunday to avoid a sack...that's a target. Are you arguing that was an opportunity for Zeke?
