It's done. It sucked the way he handled it but it's over. Schlereth another former player and homer for Denver was on ESPN comparing Dez to Hardy. That is absolutely ridiculous comparing him to that idiot. Schlereth can have a show with Teddy Bruschi. They can make out with pictures of Elway and Brady together

That is absolutely no excuse for his actions.

Maybe with this time off, he can take care of his pending lawsuit for trashing a house he was renting..

He didn't use it as an excuse. He was explaining what actually happened while admitting that he handled it completely wrong. You can't see the difference?

So you dodged the question.
It's not just you...it's common around here these days. People saying stuff and then not being able to back up why they say it with no examples. I've asked this question several times over the last few days and the answer is never an answer. Usually the poster just ignores the question. So I'll give you credit for not doing that.
You don't remember the previous issues?

Buying $750K in jewelry on credit, but not paying for it? Hitting his nother? Tearing up another person's house that he was living in and not paying the damages?

Not overly horrible stuff, but there have been incidents.

Dez is a very good player. Having said that, he makes really bad decisions. I like his fire as a player. I don't care for all of the ******** that inevitably follows him around.

Dez is sort of like the really hot chick that you are dating and everyone is envious of you because you are dating her, but know one knows her incredibly disfunctional, chaotic ******** is going to wad up on you every morning before you even get out of bed, and she is going to look at you, and say "I have no idea how ____(insert incredibly functional ********)_______ happened". Of course YOU know why it happened...... because she is a complete ****up!

It's hilarious to see grown men that are at least 21 years of age act the way they do on this forum.

Maybe everyone here isn't 21 years of age...hmm?

Dez is a mental midget. A kid. This is what a minimum wage worker says/does when he's in with his boss.

Oh well, just score TD's and I don't care. What I do care about is how are weak coaching staff handles things, as that leads to losses.
I think Dez is manic depressive.

He's excited one moment and off the end of the pier the next.

Or he's got a touch of BI-Polar.

He obviously needs counceling.

Not for injured players who have to come to the facility for treatment. Reason being these guys didn't play Sunday so they don't need Monday off to rest.
Also there is no treatment the training staff can perform on a fractured bone.

He wasn't AWOL for days. He was off Monday and didn't contact them when they wanted him to get an MRI. Then we was late to work Tuesday.

He missed an MRI and scheduled treatment in Monday. He missed team meetings Tuesday. He missed another meeting Wednesday.

This is all directly from JG..

A man having a credit dispute isn't a him not being available to his team and teammates. Him having a domestic dispute with his mother and brother isn't him not being available for his teammates. How many practices or games did he miss due to leaving a rental property dirty?

This is media driven TMZ level crap that Cowboys fans should put into proper perspective. I would expect my Eagles fans friends to use these types of things as reasons.....not Cowboys fans. We should cut through the crap and realize what we have in Dez.

It's both. He makes a lot of mistakes, and the mistakes get magnified.
Bryant is/was a major Cowboy mistake. The sooner this idiot is out of Dallas the better. He has nothing to offer but distraction and loss.. Get rid of him NOW!!

The fact that he did it is all that matters. If I commit a crime, saying I'm sorry and that I handled it wrong is not going to excuse it.
