The defense has been pathetic ever since Bledsoe was benched...is there any coincidence to this correlation? I think so....
As for your other question....I'm a Cowboys fan first....always have been. But I have always followed Bledsoe since I grew up back east....from his days as a patriot and then Buffalo since local TV was dominated by the AFC East.
Also a side note.....I had a good friend at college who had a contact within the Patriots organization, and even despite Tom Brady and the 3 superbowls he said that Bledsoe was the best thing that ever happened to that franchise. The man is still a legend in some circles around the New England area.
Where to begin, I have to say this is one of the funniest threads I've seen here in awhile.
Yeah, I'm sure you have numerous 'contacts' from New England just wishing they had stuck with Bledsoe instead of that Tom Brady chump. I'll bet they wish they could trade those three Lombardi trophies back for a legend like Bledsoe.
Bledsoe hasn't been 'winning for fourteen years.' He's been an average QB with a bad habit of turning the ball over. He's one of the most sacked QBs in the league because he can barely move and holds on to the ball all day. Bledsoe led the league in fumbles for losses last year. Probably not the only year he has, either. His career QB rating is barely 80. He's never had a good TD to interception ratio, and that's even more of an indictment when you consider his inordinate amount of fumbles and sacks. Bledsoe is the death knell of any Offensive Line that has the misfortune of having to block for him. The guy is a handicap to the entire team. Even Parcells admitted we couldn't call certain plays with Bledsoe in there.
The guy is a bum and we need a real backup QB prospect with the ability to push Romo. Bledsoe can't get out of Dallas fast enough.
