We'd be stupid not to bring him in. He has shown that he can be elite in the right scheme, he's young. Who would you rather have back up Tony? A 3rd string career backup who fits this offense? How did that work out last year with the dozen guys we gave a shot, guys that completely fell on their face in the process?
That may be true or it may not be true. I think I tend to agree with a few of the other posters. For RG3, the right scheme has put him on the shelf a few times. The right scheme for him is not necessarily a scheme that works in the NFL. He doesn't fit what we do on Offense IMO. If you brought him in to back up Tony, you probably have to change the offense to suit him. That means everybody is effected. I don't know that he is the best option for us.
