Been trying to wrap my head around that all day and still can't.

Ahhh... the enviable life of an unserviceable NFL OG.

That said... words cannot fully express how much I dislike having Cory "Turnstile" Procter on the team that I root for. I understand that the team seems to like him, but I sincerely hope that we replace him with somebody who is at least decent at playing their position. It doesn't even have to be a guard... we could replace him on the roster with a running back or a tight end for all I care.

Why did the team even bother tendering him, I would have let that bum walk out the door. He has to be one of the worst lineman in the league, seriously a street free agent could do no worse.

Lets hope he is just a camp body and doesnt actually make the final roster. This guy is going to get Romo hurt bad if he plays any significant time this year.

Captain Oblivious. If I were to damn him with faint praise, I'd note that he's not as wretched at center than he is at guard.

Thank you bbgun. That is funny. Although, I wasn't laughing at the time, because the franchise was being assaulted by Giants.

Yeah. He's bloody terrible at guard, and he's just bad at center. Note the 2007 Carolina game and 2007 Washington game where our running game evaporated.

I don't get why he's still frozen pizza in that shot. Can't he, at least, feel all that commotion around him? Can't he hear it?

I would love to be rid of him. I am rooting for Travis Bright so bad I can't even tell you. The team sees something in him that I don't. I'll be damned if I am going to whine about him being on the team when every team has guys just like him.

I honestly want two thing sin the upcoming Draft. A dedicated Return man who can help elsewhere if called upon, and OL depth. I don't care if we ignore Defense completely. They were #2 in the NFL in 2009 and I think without even making a move they can improve on that just by virtue of the maturation of Spencer.

But I really dislike our backup OL outside of Free. Brewster and Bright I have hopes for. Holland, Preston, McQuistan, and Procter I simply don't. I'd love for us to land Iupati and start him with Kosier being the top OG backup and Bright in the picture instead of Holland and Procter.

Hostile, here's the thing. We both don't like proctor as a player, and we both want off the roster. We agree there. Yeah, there are other backup offensive linemen who are not very good. However, Dallas has seen this guy play extensive time at guard. They won that infamous Giants game where Proctor didn't come out of his stance, but Tony Romo took a beating. Gurode had to worry about Proctor on his left, and as a result, Davis was attacked with delayed blitzes. Proctor was a big reason why Romo took so much punishment in 2008.

I've only seen him two times, at center, in a real game. Furthermore, the running game disappeared in both of them. Marion Barber couldn't even get to 1,000 yards, because Dallas had like 1 yard rushing in Washington that day.

It's just my opinion. If Proctor is on this team next year, the Cowboys are taking a big chance on losing playoff positioning if something happens to Gurode. I don't think the player is good enough to get Dallas through 3 or 4 games at center without some major problems that could cost you a game or two or your QB. If he has to take over and play like Free did last year, the Cowboys are in big trouble. The Eagles have some big guys inside, and we all know how the Giants and Eagles love to bring heat, inside, right at the center or heart of the offensive line.

That is why I want Pouncy.

Losing Gurode could doom this team's Super Bowl hopes if Proctor has to take over at center. Now, you could say the same thing about other players. I sure don't want anything to happen to Andre Gurode. I'm a big fan of his. I've defended him, but you have to be ready for things like that. If Dallas settles on Procter, after what I've seen of him on the field, and he has to play, Dallas will pay. Plus, they will have no one to blame but themselves if that is the case, and I don't want it to be. I just want some real talent behind Gurode that could challenge to start at LG while Gurode is going to Pro Bowls. That is just my opinion.

I wouldn't be surprised if Dallas traded out of round 1.

We need a kicker, too.

That comment was funny above.

More great pictures, not the content. I don't like seeing Romo get the crap beat out of him like he did in that game. Those shots are clear, though.

Good job, bbgun. Thanks again.

The one time Procter came in at Center this past season when Gurode went out until halftime, he got blown off the ball. Badly.

I think this is just insurance. You want to make sure you're carrying enough offensive linemen into camp in the event something wild happens in the draft and absolutely nobody is available at any of your picks.
