Read it again. More slowly this time.
i read it and you're still only seeing the stuff that fits your agenda. i'm done talking to the guy who thinks Felix Jones runs with more Power than Clinton Portis.

What makes you think I don't enjoy the win? I enjoy the win just fine and yet can still see we played like crap for over 3 quarters and will have trouble making the playoffs.
I didn't enjoy the win. we had to go into overtime with the 2nd worst team in the league to barely get a win. the 2 teams we gotta really compete with(giants) destroyed kc and (philly) destroyed kc as well. we should've destroyed kc too. and I don't wanna hear the injury excuse cause Philly destroyed kc without McNabb playing.

December games are typically more important than September games.
Do they have a mutliplier added to the win/loss column or something?

Do you get a 1.25 in the win column for a win in December?

I'm absolutely certain that you think the stats you cherry-pick are relevant.

I'm 100% certain of it, I assure you.

What it comes down to ogt is you have absolutely no basis for your 11-5 prediction. If that is what you feel will happen then go for it. But the history and stats of this team is against that prediction and you can not back it up other than saying its just a gut feeling you have.

What is that supposed to prove again? Whether or not he can name the 12 playoff teams now isn't going to improve or lessen our chances.

I can just imagine that somewhere some Rams or Chiefs fan is liking their playoff chances because no one can definitively name all the playoff teams tonight.
The challenge was that anyone who doesn't see this team could miss the playoffs has no "football IQ."

So wow me. You know as well as I do that the naysayers never make any football predictions other than Dallas will suck and they hope they are wrong. It's a cop out tactic.

If you are so much smarter than the rest of us Bach (or anyone else telling me this team is doomed) show me how smart you are. After 5 weeks name all 12 playoff teams. Dallas has to be excluded. You've already made this clear. They won't go. Forgone conclusion. There's no brilliance needed to say that and "I hope I am wrong" at the same time.

None. Zero. Zip. Nada.

If Dallas makes the playoffs this year all of you pronouncing it as impossible will refuse to eat crow or admit you were wrong. You'll hide behind the same tired mantras or shift the focus to some other gaslight tactic.

Even if you could name all 12 playoffs teams you know as well as I do it is pure stupid luck. You couldn't do it more than once if I gave you 10 seasons worth of options to look at without painfully studying every single season and trying to match the circumstances to the season.

Therefore there's no real intelligence to the tactic is there?

I am waiting to see this football IQ in action that the naysayers are thumping their chest about. I'll never see it. Putting an actual prediction out there where it could end up ridiculed would require guts. It therefore won't happen.

But the challenge is there.

It's arguable whether the Giants "destroyed" KC.

Did I say they count more? No. They matter more, they are more important. At least for teams that want to make the playoffs. There is a difference between counting more and meaning more.

I can assure you I would. Even now a part of me believes they might...but I just see the history and have been suckered in too many time before with this team.
Well, here's hoping. I'm not convinced.

And you still think that Portis, the "scat back" coming out of college, is a power running back.

How odd. Well, given that you were 10 years old when he came out of college, I guess it's not that odd.

Like Dicky V said a W is a W.

Are you embarrassed that we didn't blow this poor team away like the Gints did the Raiders and the Eagles did the Bucs? Most probably are. I'm not. I enjoy W's, regardless of how they come.

Does that mean I'm delusional to the issues we have? No...we have issues...like most teams. We just notice ours more than others.

I saw a bunch of things I liked today and a bunch of things that made me want to punch the holes in the wall repeatedly.

Bottom line is this...we Won. We're 3-2 with a bye week. That gives this coaching staff two weeks to prepare for Atlanta at home. If we come out and lay an egg its totally on the coaching staff and I think our GM (who shouldn't be one) would really need to make a decision.

are you serious? September games are when teams sometimes aren't even in-sync yet. September games are played in nice weather with for the most part fully healthy rosters. December games are when injuries are mounted up,weather is bad, teams are in-sync,have film on opponents, the standings are tighter and the games are more crucial to win. your homerness must be why Hos agrees with you cause you're dumb when it comes to football.

EXACtly!!!!
The fact that both NY & Philly had no problems w/ KC ought to be reason for concern. Those teams are who we compete against for the division & playoff positioning.
Can anyone honestly say that we're in their class right now?
Can anyone honestly believe that we'd put up afight against that Philly team or our return engagement against the Giants?

I'm not looking forward to those games, as well as many others on our schedule.
Miles Austin will not dominate vs good NFL teams...thats the truth.

No, but you do gain postseason momentum
Kinda like the Cardinals going 2-4 in the last six regular season games last year.
