I don't think anyone in this thread said he was the devil. I think people have expressed doubts about this story.

I don't believe the club owner made it up and recanted. I think it was legit and I think Pacman's people gave him a heads up.

no. i'm saying they sure are. but unfortunately to the point where you think he can't or won't change.

i'm just willing to see if he can and/or will as long as it's low risk to the team and the burden is on him.

You can choose to believe differently or give him more benefit of the doubt and that's cool, but I'm not as inclined to do so in this particular instance.

A friend of ours in the “real” media called the number on the flier that was posted on ******** earlier on Tuesday, and was told that the Grey Goose Party 2008, set for Sunday night at midnight, has been canceled.

But shed no tears for Pacman. Remember — he now has a stripper pole in his house.

Let's just get to the crux of the issue and stop debating over whether or not he ties his shoes correctly. We're in the perfect position. We don't need him. He needs us desperately to continue to do the other thing he loves deeply (to go along with making it rain). He loves the game of football. This is no Ricky Williams here. This guy is desperate to get back out onto the field and prove his worth. We are in the perfect position with this one. It's a win win as far as I am concerned. I'll take a chance and trust in C Wat's mentoring powers to get #6.

A friend of ours in the “real” media called the number on the flier that was posted on ******** earlier on Tuesday, and was told that the Grey Goose Party 2008, set for Sunday night at midnight, has been canceled.

But shed no tears for Pacman. Remember — he now has a stripper pole in his house.

No surprises here. When the fraudulent advertisement is exposed they obviously realize no one is going to show up at their down home spot. (aside from the local regulars...)

Ok This is getting pretty stupid. The man cannot even host a party at a club now? First it was, oh no, he can't go to strip clubs, now the man can't even go to a regular club? People really need to quit smelling themselves as there is a lot of that going on in the thread. You don't know how many times I got flyers to go to parties and guess what....the celeb NEVER showed.

It's easy to jump to conclusions with someone of his track record, and rightfully so. If this were Jason Witten, DeMarcus Ware, etc we'd all be quite sure this was B.S.

I, for one, will not be giving Pacman any benefit of the doubt.

Yep. I've experienced that a bunch of times myself. Just don't believe that was the case here. That's alright, they'll schedule another one and this time, the proper people will be properly paid off, so it doesn't leak again.

Two specific instances.

My first time going to Dream in DC, NAS was supposed to be there. He NEVER showed.

On my Birthday in 2003, we got table at Dream (Now club Love) because Mobb Deep was supposed to be there. They NEVER showed.

Dream/Love is a very popular club that brings in celebrities regularly and they have celebs cancel on them all the time.

I don't do after parties I have better things to do at 4am.
