DMN Blog:Roy/Tony throwing after practice/'Boys core too strong to be divided... more

Wouldn't it be more productive for Romo to do this extra practicing with Austin? I'm thinking it would.
They already have a good connection. The more reliable targets Romo has, the more productive the offense should be.

Is it possible that Mac's bias slipped into the story? Yes. Is it possible that his interpretation is slighted skewed from what Roy intended to deliver? Yes. Is it possible that you are biased that you will believe what you want? Yes. Is it possible that writers like to create controversy? Absolutely. We all have biases, you, me, Mack and everyone else. Can we put those aside to form a clear opinion? Some can and some can’t. I can. I’m no Roy homer. I think he is frustrated. I don’t think he’s a whiner. I think he is embarrassed by his lack of production. I think he wants to win. How many times has that fact been stated? Yet, most Roy bashers fail to bring that very important point. This is such a none story that bashers have championed. The media created this. Romo is killing it. Good for him.

:hammer:

On NFLN Rod Woodson (idiot) just said the Cowboys haven't played any good teams, said "the Cowboy's opponents combined record was only 10-25." He's so dumb he didn't realize he actually just quoted the E-GALS OPPONENTS COMBINED RECORD. :lmao:Oh and in the next breath said the e-gals are a good team.

He obviously still holds a grudge from his playing days.

I seem to recall many of the media types calling the Atlanta game a big game.

Yeah, but we won, so it doesn't count.

I dont like Romos response if things were fine then why the need for the extra practices? If RW really had a problem with TO why didnt he go straight to Romo instead of the media? This extra practice crap seems off to me you guys should of been working like this during the off season.

You being a Yankee fan and all and us winning the WS. I would just like to say and I believe you can verify this.

The difference in this Yankees team and winning this year wasnt really about the players they brought in.

It was about the way this TEAM gelled and fought for each other. A tightly woven group.

If the Cowboys get there and I believe Romo is possibly headed in that direction then we can do ALOT... maybe even win it all.

Baseball's a different sport but the Yankees won this year for one simple reason: Pitching.

It had nothing to do with the team "gelling" or any other crap that armchair sports psychologists want to sell.

They say Romo isnt a leader, I laugh my butt off. This guy says all the right things, has the right attitude and you can see it rubbing off on his team mates by the command thread of we are just trying to work hard and continue to improve. The whole team has been echoing those setiments all season and I for one dont think it is just lip service.

While pitching is a big part of it. You must not have watched the playoffs.
Your opinion is your own and greatly appreciated by some I am sure.

AROD more than once hit homeruns to tie a game or to go ahead in a game.

Matsui drove in 6 of the 7 runs.
Teixeira gold glove saved the day more than once.
Jeter and all he does - hit safely in 14 of 15 games in playoffs and the intangibles.
Damon and his heads up play and stubborn at bats.

It was MORE than pitching. This team gelled and it showed.

regarding your sig maybe if Jerry can go on a spending spree next season and buy all the best free agents like George did, we can buy a championship too.

Says the fan of the team with the league's 2nd highest payroll. Maybe we should take up a collection for you or something.

Stay classy, Beantown fans.

Good thing we wrapped it up when we did, because our outfield tonight would have been Hairston, Gardner and Swish. Christ that's anemic. And if Matsui and Damon split town, look out. As for Cano, I was cursing him out at the top of my lungs after every ****ty at-bat. Amazing we won this thing with next to no production from him or Tex. Marte out of the pen was the unsung hero.

HEHE - see you at the parade. :laugh2:

(psst - Jerry does pay(and sometimes overpays) for the best players)
