Well, Switzer and Jimmy were both great coaches, but we all know JJ runs the organization top-down.

Heck, you even say it yourself.

contradictory loophole in 3 posts or less coming....

who's arguing?

i'm just saying "stop the whining".

you and he seem to take "stop whining" as jones defense in as much as preservation of our own posting sanity.
somebody is always arguing with him. I find quite entertaining most of the time.

do you agree your constant and tireless whining makes people want to soil themselves and throw it at you?

like i said, the people you say "defend" jones are not doing that to the level you push it to, so your post to start with makes no sense.

start with something stupid, it rarely gets better after that.

Actually, I'd think more fans would be wanting to soil themselves and throw it at Jerry. Instead they act like his incompetence is a thing to behold. But I get it, I'm sure part of the Raiders fanbase thinks Al Davis is a good GM and they've just hit a rough spot in the road. Same with many Commanders fans and Snyder. Some of them will defend him to the death while others see him for what he is. I guess it's part of being a blind homer.

I guarantee you even if we win the Super Bowl this year that there will be posters who will be calling for JJ's head.

blind homer, blind hater - not much of a difference, is there?

so tell me, who are these mythical people you speak up who things jones is a great GM. show me cause otherwise i'm tired of you arguing against people who don't really seem to exist.

well, there is that. : ) i just find it frustrating cause reason and logic have no part in this analysis.

JONES SUCKS!!!
dude, can you chill out on that?
YOU MUST LOVE JONES - HE SUCKS!!!!

how does asking someone to calm down equate to loving what they hate? it doesn't. unless you just need it to. pretty frustrating.

so are you saying switzer was calling them then?
are you saying the "puppet master" only puts down the strings when we win?

Anyone with any amount of sense would realize that team was predominantly composed of players that had won back to back Super Bowls just two years before when Jimmy was here.

We've kind of been over this nearly a million times. It's not like Jerry and Barry took the scraps Jimmy left over and rebuilt it into a championship team two years later. No, Jimmy left the pieces in place and the team was able to hold on long enough to win one more Super Bowl before the mismanagement and poor coaching hires took their toll.

I'd guarantee if Jerry fired Wade tomorrow and coached the team himself and we went 0-16 there'd still be posters defending him to their deaths.

I don't think there is ANYONE who considers JJ a great GM (outside of his family, maybe, but even that's debatable). Great owner, yes, JJ has his supporters.

anyone with sense would quit saying such extreme stupid things, but here we are, huh?

jones is a puppet master who never gives up control.
except when we win.

like i said - any excuse to lob out to keep the hate alive and refuse to give jones any credit at all. you got nailed for saying something stupid, i said you'd be along shortly to contradict yourself so you can keep hating, and you didn't let me down.

any excuse will do.

we have been through this a million times, you still will only see it YOUR way. i understand what you're saying and agree with a lot of it. but i also will give jones credit for being a part of those superbowl seasons. like it or not, he was. now i know you'll diminish it or hate away and at this point i just don't give an oversized zit on a monkeys buttocks.

when you want to start making sense i'd love to talk about it. but if every road you travel on must end at JONES SUCKS even if you have to build the roads to get there, later dude.

bach - quit being stupid - where in the holy hell does it say jones is a GREAT GM in there? that was the question you bypass and put your own words in there.

it doesn't. and if that's the best you got, you lose cause you're making up the other side of the argument just so you can keep whining.

umm... where does he say that Jerry Jones is a great gm

I imagine Bach sees a very different world than the rest of us.

"Nice day today, eh, Bach?"
"What do you mean nice day? Jerry is the GM of the Cowboys!"
"I was just saying the weather..."
"Oh, so you're completely satisfied with the way things have been run around here under Jerry's watch?"
"Dude what the hell?"
"I'm just being a realist."
