Manziel was hanging out in Vegas yesterday, the day before a game.

Still want the scum here?

It's because the league could care less about breaking any laws.

Right now you look cross-eyed at someone and you're suspended a couple games.

Do it again and you're gone for a season.

And in the meantime the Cowboys STILL need a young QB to groom AND a vet backup.

And when was the last time the league treated the Cowboy organization fairly?

Agreed 100%.

This team was not built on following conventional wisdom.

It was built on leading and being innovative and taking chances.

This franchise has lost that.

It returned briefly when Jimmy Johnson came..

But left forever when he left Dallas.

I agree with those that say get him for a low pick. Then draft a guy and hopefully one of the two can be our qb after Romo. Or if he gets hurt.

How many low picks do we have left? Didn't we give up a 6th rounder for Matt Cassel and another 6th and 7th for Christine Michaels?

How many low rounders/comp picks do we have left to trade for JM?

Do you really think that the same things are not happening today?

Oh I think they are, but if you get caught you're in for a major beat-down from the league which didn't exist back then.

It's not the guys doing it in the quiet... It's the attention seekers.

Not that Manziel would ever do anything to attract attention. :D

You are so ungrateful.

Jerry still believes in being innovative and taking chances.
  • Escobar in the 2nd round.
  • Used good draft picks to take gambles on AOA & Matt Johnson.
  • Small school DB with 1 year of experience on defense in the 3rd round.
  • Replace a 3x Pro Bowler and 1,800 yard rusher with Joseph Randle.
  • Sold the farm for Roy Williams in 2008.
  • Consistently hands out big multi-year contracts to one-year wonders.
  • Foolishly took a chance on a washed up, bitter Jay Ratliff.
  • Pacman Jones...need I say more.
  • Quincy Carter in the 2nd round.
  • Rolled the dice on washed up AA baseball players
  • The masterful wheeling and dealing of the 2009 draft.
The list goes on and on. What's not to love?

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!!!!!!

Scum.

LOL.

Hanging out (allegedly per the cocktail waitress and bartender) at Hard Rock. Doing basically what a good chunk of this team was doing the night Jerry Brown lost his life thanks to Josh Brent.

What a degenerate. We have no tolerance for "scum" like that.

How many examples do you need?

Enough to call him "scum"? I think he needs to slap around a few females or drive drunk and kill a teammate before I put him in "scum" territory.

Moron? Imbecile? Entitled twerp? Okay then.

Like a fine Bourbon.

:muttley:lol. Of course even the smell of Bourbon makes me sick. There is a very painful and funny story behind that from a long time ago when I was young and stupid.

He's a total clown.

How many times are people going to buy his whole remorseful and "I've learned my lesson" schtick?

I think you underestimate how stubborn Garrett is.

Garrett explicitly said two weeks ago he is happy with this offensive scheme and it puts everyone in a position to succeed.

It's not changing until he leaves.

I really wish he wasn't a Texas product because I suspect nobody would care about him at all.

Guy screwed up so much that one of the most QB-deprived teams the NFL has seen over the past 20 years cut bait after just 2 seasons.

That's a great point. I've never lived in Texas and don't quite comprehend the Texas A&M hate which I think is the basis for a lot of strong reactions in here too.
