Drew Stanton (not going no where)
Chad Henne (will go were the money is)
Ryan Fitzpatrick (not leaving the Jets)
Matt Moore (not sure he is a improvement)
Matt Hasselbeck (OLD)
Scott Tolzien (WHO)
Sam Bradford (Not leaving Philly)

I'm looking at Nick Foles....was decent with Philly, and Bombed hard after the trade to the Rams......hopefully the Rams will release him and the Cowboys can work a deal out with him..... not a QB looking to start but heck of a lot better then any backup QB out there that thinks they are NFL starters....RG3, KAP, JF. Foles was just a bad fit for the Rams....alot of bad blood between Foles and the Rams

Stanton is one helluva backup, and is very happy in Arizona with Bruce A. and Palmer. He's getting a little older and wouldn't be ideal behind Tony but a better option than Manziel IMO. Anyway, agree with you he isn't going anywhere.

I dont like him
Curious here, Namath was Broadway Joe, but Manziel has addiction issues. Why is it so wrong for a 22 yr old to be out partying during his off week? As long as he's putting in the work when he is supposed to then I could care less if he's out at the bars. Since when is it illegal to party at bars?

do you know he wasn't ready for a game because he was home in bed from a hangover?
one of his team mates called him a 100% joke? a team mate!
after his 72 day treatment a film showed up with him partying in texas drinking
his a party boy

If someone will pick him up and leave him inactive till hes forgotten, im sll for it. He can live off his signing bonus and parents money the rest of his life. Im sure he will have nonproblem finding a & m frat parties to crash for the next decade+.

I watched Cleveland's last game and Manziel was awful. He needs some major coaching.

It's hard to assess Manziel because Cleveland is terrible.

I think you should draft a QB every year. The position of QB in this league is just too important and almost warrants the acceptance of drafting a QB every year. I mean come on...if you have a third QB I'm sure you'll have enough info by the end of the season to determine if you should hold on to him or not. If you see something in the draft that's better than your third QB then your third QB is expendable every year IMO. You never know if you're going to hit on one and if you do suddenly you find yourself with two good ones and that's a good problem to have. Never know if a team come knocking with draft picks for that dilemma you have.

I'm not really sure I want Manziel. I'd almost rather draft 2 QBs. If he did come in I'd still draft a QB because you can't trust him with the issues he brings. If Manziel came in I'd make him the number three and the drafted QB the #2. Tell Manziel to clean up and earn the position otherwise see ya.

I think for now you find the best vet you can get, draft a QB or two and roll from there.

If we brought in both Manziel and Carson Wentz, I would not be disappointed.

What are the chances that Manziel's "issues" are all a ruse? What if he is just forcing his way out knowing Jerry will make him the heir apparent. Maybe it was a plan hatched by the Jones family and Manziel... Of course I'm joking, but also... I'm not. Haha.

Like I said, who in free agency?

We tried three quarterbacks. With abject failure.

What traits do any of these have that will make them successful in our offense?

They are names.

So were Weeden and Cassel.

Money talks so any one of those QB's can move, most are much better than what we have. Imo the draft is not the answer this year for Qb's as it seems rather weak.

The addiction problems didn't bother the 1990's Cowboys much

I didn't know Troy had a problem.......I'm not so sure about your cavalier attitude to the most important position on the field. You're a good man jnday but that's just a stupid *** comment.

Even if cowboys were able to control his addiction problems and get him to focus on playing ball, he still wouldn't be worth it. He simply isn't a good QB to begin with.

Yeah, they give those Heismen Trophies to just anyone.

Oh yeah, great idea. The guy who couldn't keep his **** together in a non market area where nobody gives a **** about football or the Browns, lets bring him to Dallas. That should work out well.

Dont want this lying, cokeheaded alcoholic anywhere near Dallas. I actually rather give our practice squad "Russell Wilson in the making" a shot.
