Well he didnt win did he? thats a fail.
But let me clarify it was a team loss, and not all on tony.
Tony didnt play bad, but he didnt really play great either, and I for one didnt like him wearing the thermal head wrap, he acted like
he was too concerned about being cold, and rodgers didnt wear that, in fact I think only tony did.
Rodgers outplayed tony in that game.

That's it. I am convinced you're just trolling.

First off that was an underthrown ball not an intentionally thrown back shoulder. Secondly I am not denying the magic of this season and the treasure we found in Dak, but that doesn't make me blind. This team would be even better with a healthy Romo running it. That's my opinion, you don't have to agree.

Incorrect it was a back shoulder....they've been doing it all year including the game before vs Cle. They completed thid same pass vs The Rams in the preseason. I will concede they aren't as good in the red zone with it. Philly and Pitt may have been problem games for Tony. Just a hunch. Dakota is 14/2...with the second best qbr in football. Many think you need Drew Breese #'s...to guide this offense. It's not about that. It's about efficiency, guts and limiting crippling errors. Romo has lapped Troy in every statistical category except what counts the most. Think about that.

to think that Romo don't have the respect of his teammates rather he starts or not is also laughable.
Who has said that?

That is why it is hard to have a rational discussion about Romo and his state as literally everything is regarded as a slight and it even gets to the point of people making up some nonsense like he doesn't have the respect of his own teammates.

Actually, I thought I heard that 25 players of the current roster weren't even on that 2014 team that lost in GB. Heard that right before the GB game this year I think.

This is a different team than 2014. Every team is different from year to year.

Even Romo suggests there is something special happening, but that apparently makes people think it would be even more specialer if Romo were leading it.

It is heartbreaking he is basically not part of the team. As sad as that is, you do not force otherwise until it becomes necessary.

I will be first in line if Prescott's poor play causes a loss or two. I may also add we have seen Romo do that in his career also.

After the handful of collar bone breaks that have kept Romo out for extended periods, (he's had other injuries but missed a game or two only) I lost interest on the season. Even when everyone else was healthy it didn't matter because we didn't have #9. It was like watching PS to me as he always gave us a chance.

However, this year, because of Dak and Zeke I've moved on and enjoy it again. It is sad for him, but time waits for no man. I've said all along that he will be needed sometime this year, I believe that.

I believe that too, if it plays out. Prescott has a horrible game or two, gets hurt. Of course.

But the circumstances matter. Prescort earned this. It has basically been his team since Seattle.

When people talk about chemistry in sports it just means that they are worried that something will happen that they cannot explain or that they cannot explain why a team is winning. It is the most overrated concept in sports.

Practice in a particular week may not be set up to compete but that doesn't mean there is not a different way to do it. Give Tony two games to start and see how he does. If he played better than he doesn't get Wally Pipp'd. If he doesn't then you go back to Dak.

If this team didn't prepare the same way after a loss as they did following a win then they aren't going to be able to sustain anyway. That is how momentum carries over during the week.

Frankly, making a choice because you are afraid that something might happen is a poor way to make a decision. Fear should not make your choice. What you think gives you the best chance to win should be the way to go not wringing your hands over the unknown.

What?

Give him 2 games to start?

This is not pre season or the NBA 2 games could be the difference between home field or fighting for the playoffs.

And we have all seen how Tony plays when he is pressing, that would not be pretty.

Yeah let's just change QB's during an unprecedented winning streak just to see what happens.

Some people.

lol... all you did was reinforce what he said. The Cowboys are 15-4 with Romo the last two years and everyone is saying he looks great in practice. You are just full of fear.

I am a big Romo guy but I can't see how he can compete for the job right now. Just because you look better doesn't mean you'll be better in games. Some players are just poor practice players yet play at their best in games.

I'd be willing to bet WeDone probably would look better in practice than Dak but we all know who'd play better in games.

So how would you set up the competition? Romo get two games and Dak get two games and see? That would be the most ridiculous thing to do right now.

Practice isn't the same as game conditions. And since practice time has limits, to devote time to a competition could be disastrous.

And how is Dak actually doing in games?

Even Romo understands letting him compete for the starting job in an attempt to win it back this season would be a horrible idea.

That's why we got that press conference this week. To make it clear who's the starter and who's the backup for the rest of this season.

Next season, despite many people confidently asserting Romo will be gone, he might still be here. If so, you can bet there will be competition for the starting job in training camp.

I agree with all of that exception there being a competition next year. I think there won't be, but only because of Romo's salary and what they can get for him in a trade.

Also I don't agree with the people saying Romo couldn't have done what Dak has done this year. Dak has been amazing but the thing he has done the best is hand off to Elliot. Romo could do that too, the entire issue with Romo is his health and no one knows how that would have played out.

Not a single reply to this. Unreal. I feel like people are just plugging their ears and closing their eyes when actual in-depth analysis comes up about Dak.

Dak has an issue with tight window throws. I've repeated this a million times, and each time I hear someone discuss breaking down the tape, it comes up. The issue is, even through 10 weeks, can he make those throws on a consistent basis? A receiver shouldn't always need complete separation to be considered open. Put that ball where only your receiver can get it, zip it in so the defender can't make a play on it.

But hey, I'm just some Eagles fan trolling the boards. I guess BTB has an undercover agent as well.

since you dont know what a troll is .........
In Internet slang, a troll (/ˈtroʊl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is a person who sows discord on the Internet by starting arguments or upsetting people, by posting inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community (such as a newsgroup, forum, chat room, or blog) with the intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion,[3] often for the troll's amusement.

I think you define troll as anyone who doesnt see things the way you do.

Dak wins games and doesnt turn it over much.
thats all most need to know.
It is more about playing smart, and managing the game so you win, not passing deep or in tight windows etc.
Brees was great at it the other night but he lost anyway.

It's a team sport. Who says that Dak is the reason?

The OL is better than it has been in two decades. The receivers are playing better than they have in 10 years. We have the best RB since Emmitt in a Cowboys uniform.

Sean Lee is finally healthy and our coverage particularly in the middle of the field is the best it has been since Woodson, Pup, and Sanders played together.

I'm not saying that Dak is a problem but he is hardly the reason we are winning.
