I could certainly ride with a statement that our defense is vulnerable, but our offense!?!?!? I would like for him to specify exactly where these "vulnerabilities" are! If we were attaining success through being strong in just the passing game or just the running game, I could understand the logic, perhaps. The only two things you can do on offense are run and pass. we're middle of the pack in the passing game, but extremely protective of the ball with only two INT's (against 17 TD's...don't think anyone else touches that ratio) and second in rushing (11 yds behind Buffalo). Our passing game can feed off the run or our run game can feed off the pass (to a lesser extent, IMO). We aren't "other worldly" in passing, but we don't have to be...and on the few occasions we've had to be, we have been. If that's "vulnerable, give me vulnerable all day long.

Agree the nfl is the worst I can can ever recall. You just play who is in front of you. Outside of the Patriots every other team seems a crapshoot year after year.

Well, "softest schedule except for all the others" was a bit of a joke. Not a good one, I admit.

It is true that there appears to be a vast middle in the NFL this year, which makes it hard to judge the best teams when they don't go head to head. I just don't think we have a good read on the true NFL pecking order yet, except to say that New England and Seattle, when they have healthy and active starting QBs, are at the top. Are we up there with them? Or are we in a tier below with the teams we've played even? I honestly don't know.

While I am excited about this season, I still see the Patriots and Seahawks as the best two teams. I put us on the Raider's level, as a team that is playing solid football with a quarterback playing quite well. I see both teams as learning how to be a champion on-the-go while figuring out how to win each game, week by week. Losing Church and Claiborne while Scandrick is still trying to regain his 2014 form has us lagging some on defense.

I do believe the Cowboys are capable of beating any team, including the Patriots, Seahawks and Raiders, but those three would all be close in turnover-free games. If one team were to win the turnover battle, I think that would likely decide the winner for that game.

Never mind the wins at Lambeau, and at Pittsburgh, and against Cincinnati and Washington and Philly. Those teams aren't that great, and since the Cowboys don't play the Seahawks or Patriots or Broncos this year, their schedule must be "soft" and therefore they are a paper tiger.

This all sounds right to me. If you made me guess, I'd say we'd be around 35-40% against the Patriots (just don't like the matchup), around 45-50% against the Seahawks, and 55-60% against the Raiders. But yeah, one turnover makes a much bigger swing in odds than those numbers.

I understand the oppositions mentality.

We have failed repeatedly in the past and talking Championships is much too early.

We have a tough stretch of games coming to finish starting with Thanksgiving.

The Commanders are not going to play like they did earlier this season.

They have to make a run to the playoffs, same as the Jints.

We stand in their way.

So everything is good for now but this team has to seize its opportunity.

Homefield is the goal and a bye in the first round will be very important while we try to get some injured guys going.

It would also be nice if we could get some leads and let Romo play to tune him up before the playoffs arrive.

We'll see.

That means by his logic the only good team in nfc is Seattle.

Truth is nfl teams that were good last year, arent this year, and just a few teams are getting all the wins.

No one seems to notice that dallas is in the best div in football, along with the afc west who also has 3 teams with winning records.

All the winning teams are playing same type teams we are.

I depends on who they played instead.
If they are a .500 team then theoretically 14-15 other teams may have beaten them too.

The Ravens, for example, have dropped 5 of their last 7. That tells me they are actually lucky to be 5-5 right now.

In the end, I don't care.
I'm thrilled with 9-1 however we got it.

I think part of reason Dallas isnt getting a lot of respect is that media and other teams dont understand what dallas is doing to win,and how
they are winning every week.
Some do but most dont.
It is like the Romo fans, they dont get it either.
By it I mean the way our offense works and what that does to opponents.

In the ravens game fouts pointed out that with the long time consuming drives, where dallas chipped away few yards at a time,
just wore the ravens defense down, they were on the field for long periods of time, while thier offense could only stand and watch,
and wonder when they would get another chance.

Also this cuts down the number of possesions for each team. so instead of the ravens getting 10 possesions, they get 7 or 8
that makes a difference, and our defense is getting plenty of rest on these long drives.
It all adds up to strong 4th qtr for us, and wins, and the other team thinking " what just happened ?????"

Thats why Flacco didnt understand why they lost, he isnt too bright, so someone will have to explain it to him later.

Those long time consuming drives are the key to us winning games.
We do need to score at the end, more td's than fg's, and so far I think were doing that.
