DMN Update: Roy Williams has sprained left wrist...*results negative*

Way to add that depth Jerry. "Addition by Subtraction" has netted us what?!??!?

Miles Austin and Sam Hurd. I bet that scares the poop out of D coordinators.

The "addition by subtraction" crack makes no sense.

If TO would have been injured at this same point last year, we'd still be in the exact same position we are now. We are going into the season with the same depth at wideout that we went into last year with.

You can't wait to bring him in, you've seen what happened last year when a receiver(WILLIAMS) has no repour with the starting quarterback. It takes time to get on the same page with each other, you can't do that after the season starts.

It's not as if Hurd, Crayton, Austin and Stanback are rookies, they've been here for three years, and thus far the only thing they showed, is that they get injured every year and miss substantial time. Atleast Jones is proven, and a true number two, unlike the before mentioned..

If Jones would've been here he would be about as proven as Crayton at best.

This team hasn't spread the ball around in the past and thats the #1 goal this year.

If you don't believe me just watch our 2nd drive of the Raiders scrimmage.

Our guys can get it done in this offensive scheme.

So this is your total football analysis, one stinking preseason drive....WOW!!! You think the cowboys would've figured that strategy out last year wouldn't you!!

Matt Jones has much more talent than Crayton, Crayton is a third receiver at best, don't make Crayton into something he's not...

As if hearing about his injury wasn't enough, I just drafted him for FF about two hours ago.

The groupie love for Matt Jones by some of the fans here is disgusting. I'll take Patrick Crayton and his high character over a coke-head any day of the week.

Seriously, though, this isn't something that's going to a major problem all season. It may make it tough (but not impossible) to catch for a few weeks -- nothing big.

Greaaaaaaaaat. This is all we need. Please don't turn into Galloway part two.

Crayton's high character!!.... you mean the guy that quits on routes, drops key passes and is shooting his mouth off endlessly when he hasn't accomplished anything to be even shooting his mouth off about.... that Patrick Crayton, who's number were inflated two years ago playing against substandard corners, like the Rams game... is that the patrick Crayton you're talking about...

Did you call Michael Irvin a coke head too, or did you give him a second and thrid chance...and a pass

This is the Patrick Crayton he's talking about:

Over last 3 seasons:
Crayton: 1762 yards, 15 TDs
Jones: 1721 yards, 10 TDs

X-Rays Negative On Roy Williams' Wrist
Posted by jellis at 8/16/2009 5:54 PM CDT on truebluefanclub.com
Cowboys vice-president Stephen Jones said x-ray results were negative on the left wrist of receiver Roy Williams.

Williams missed Sunday's afternoon practice to see a doctor about a left wrist injury, the severity of which is still at the moment unclear with MRI results pending.

Wade Phillips didn't mention anything about Williams being injured during his press conference earlier in the day. Williams practiced normally with the team Sunday morning, and did not show any signs of discomfort or stress afterward, signing autographs as normal.

It was Williams' first missed practice of camp. He and Tony Romo had displayed improved cohesion over the last week or so.

The status of Williams' wrist could determine whether they get to continue developing together for the time being.

good grief no

Why does everyone look to players that are not even on NFL rosters. There is a reason they are unsigned.
