Vinny cant move at all and Henson should be giving the job right now to get ready for 2005. Henson did show me some really good things last night , I was impressed with his pocket presence alot.


Julius Jones is the real deal , this year were going to have to run him , lee and George to death .

You're clueless. Nobody in their right mind can predict how we will do this year off of the first pre-season game. I can just look at the roster and know we'll be a better team. How that translates in wins, I don't know. But the talent is improved from last year.

Also, I'll hang my hat on this being Parcell's second season. It'll be tough to duplicate last season, but he seems to work some magic in his second seasons with teams. The players understand what he's all about and learn what it takes to win under Parcell's. And it seems that alot of the so called experts(ESPN and the like) are writing us off already. That's good, so we can sneak up on everybody again this year. I'm up for a playoff run.

one very bad preseason game hasn't gotten any fans abandonning ship. just raising concerns. fans who are concerned about the situation at QB now have a little more evidence to substantiate their concern. fans who aren't as worried are correct to point out it was the first preseason game. those who feel the position has been upgraded have no greater an opportunity to be proven correct than those who do not share that view. the camp is split on QB more than any other position or unit on the team. some are anxious to see the "chosen one" start - others feel he is nowhere near ready. some will call for romo. others for the addition of a veteran. some even for the recall of "he whose name shall not be spoken for fear of incurring the wrath of the wise and benevolent mods". no matter where you stand on this "issue" the season will be played and the facts will bear themselves out. as vinny is at the head of the line today - we can only cheer him on and hope things work out. the diversity of opinion here is best thing about this site.

Kid, do not take me up on a bet on how much money I make when you already told me you sell light bulbs for a living. I own two companies of my own. A Real Estate business and a construction business. I am not at all poor. Rest your worried little mind on that. I can make more on one commission that I am working on than you will make in 5 years time. Book it.

I said "for all intents and purposes" I have won the bet. In other words, the chances of you winning it now are slim and none. If you want to live in a fantasy world and deny that, go right ahead. No NFC team is going to pick Carter up and make him the starter in time for you to have him qualify as one of the top 3 QBs in the NFC. That is a pipe dream.

The fact of the matter remains that the other two bets you made both have all season to play out and mine no longer in reality does. That was the stipulation I insisted on if you remember. Once I have the bet won, pay up and you said you would. Yet now you are telling me you want to wait until you collect on those other bets. That's called backing out. Spin it any way you want.

All I asked for was a "when." I didn't demand the money right now, did I? I asked when. You told me when. "When you collect on other bets." That is crap and if you don't know that already, please go try this with a bookie. I tired to tell him Carter could get waived, benched, or injured and cause him to lose by not qualifying. He still wanted the bet.

MikeD17, Carter is gone. And if you were to ask Carter himself or even his agent, each gentleman would most likely tell you that the odds of your bet becoming reality are zip.

It would probably be best to pay up and put this behind you. If not, this could haunt you for a very, very long time.
