.....Jags mind hat goes on.........
You bandwagon Cowboys fans just don't get it. The Jags had the #6 defense in the NFL last season and managed a playoff spot (can you Cowboys fans spell p..l..a..y..o..f..f..s, I didn't think so) in an AFC that has been clearly superior to ther NFC for years now! After reading the eyewash in this thread I can see that you folks need some schoolin'...let's get to it...
Yeah any team would have had the #6 defense in the NFL last season if their last 9 games were the Texans, Ravens, Titans, Cardinals, Browns, Colts, 49ers, Texans, and Titans. Any mid-tier team would have managed a playoff spot with that schedule. All you'd have to do is go 3-4 in your 1st 7 games and that's basically 11 wins right there.

We played the Seahawks..and won...how did the Cowboys do?
You played the Seahawks AT HOME. Seahawks are such a bad road team. They pull off all their miracle bull**** at home. Anyone who watched 'hawks vs cowboys and giants should know. They basically get DOMINATED the first 90% of the game (MVP Alexander was SHUT DOWN) then some amazing garbage happens at the end to allow them to get a win (missed sub-30 yarder that would have put the game out of reach, 2 50+ yarders + random stupid interception, 3 missed FGs by a kicker who basically was automatic every game before that? ***?) If it was still last season, all that matters is the W, but now that we're looking into the future here, both the Cowboys and the Giants are clearly superior teams to the hawks in my mind. Hawks are another team in addition to the Jaguars that are in for a huge letdown season imo.

Now, he was still able to come up with a higher QB rating than Deadslow...er Bledsoe, but Leftwich is still a kid who has improved every year and we expect him to do better still this season. Our top draft picks this year were at TE and RB and we expect both guys (UCLA boys) to make an immediate impact on our offense. Some of the pundits said the Jags made the most out of the fewest picks of any team in the draft this year.
I see the votes in this poll are lopsided for the Cowboys...but what should I expect on this board so full of homers it makes me sick? How could I expect any fairness and recognition of our superior team here? Why do I bother? I'm outta here.
.....Jags mind hat comes off......
Bledsoe was like top 3 in the NFL in QB rating until the OL disaster struck. Leftwich gets his rating boosted thanks to nearly half his games being against bottom tier teams. Would have been way over half if he didn't miss those last 6 games. Not really a good comparison. Leftwich is ok, but his supporting cast isn't anything special. Cowboys have a great supporting cast, so that someone like Bledsoe can perform (of course, until all those injuries hit, but injuries **** over any team anyway...except the patriots...)
Sorry, I'm still disgusted that the Jaguars managed to get into the playoffs last season in addition to their great seed that they just didn't deserve. I knew whoever they faced in the playoffs would just steamroll their *** because they didn't deserve to be there. ESPECIALLY over a Chargers team that fought so hard and went through so much adversity just to be denied a playoff spot thanks to the schedule makers. Not the Jags fault I know but Jags are hella overrated and they've been getting tons of praise they simply do not deserve thanks to their record last year. This year their schedule is BRUTAL from the looks of things. Injuries and other letdowns can always screw that up and whatnot but to me there is no way in hell the Jags come close to 12-4 this year, and they won't be representing the AFC in the playoffs.
