Do you think we can trade for Crabtree?

Any 1 think that Crabtree would take less money from us than he would for the 49ers??

who cares...we dont need him here...we need guys passionate about the game, guys who will go all out to win...Crabturd is not one of those guys

this is one of the alltime boneheaded moves ever pulled...I hope nobody ever signs the turd

The problem with trading for the rights to Crabtree so late in the game is you essentially have a couple weeks to make a deal and give him everything he wants of he'll just enter the 2010 draft. By that point, he's already missed the entire season so he has very little to lose by just going back into the draft.

The league season is over in March, which i would presume means he is no longer their property and he would reenter the draft. Not sure but that's what i'm thinking.

his rights can be traded during a period between march and april. after that he can re-enter the draft

I don't want Michael Crabtree on my team. hopefully Jerry feels the same way.

We won't go for Crabtree. We already have an Ogletree. One tree is enough. All weak jokes aside. Crabtree is not fast. Everybody in here seems to want a burner on the outside to compliment our slower Crayton and Williams.

I want to see Ogletree emerge anyways. Besides, Crabtree will cost us draft picks. We need to address O-line, S, and WR in early rounds next year.

we just got rid of one diva WR

why do we want baby TO?
Irvin was a diva also, TO score 35 TDs in 3 years, Also 90 percent of WRz are Divas including Randy Moss, Jerry Rice. I don't care about how they act, as long as they produce......

I bet Aikman, Emmitt, Jerry and Jimmy all looked the other way while Irvin ws doing his thing, but if Irvin were grabbing 10 catches a year he would have been cut, but since he was producing they looked the other way.......

I like producting and TO gave us production, now since Romo and Garrett are a little sensitive they wanted him gone....Football is a man sport and if your not thick skinned it can get real rough real fast...

All and all I wold love to have the Crab on Dallas.........

Elway held out when Balt. drafted him and force them to trade him, was he a diva, Yes, did he produce yes.... same thing, we just don't know if he will produce but I think he can.

The dude has only played college ball up to this point. Nothing says that he will be a dominating WR in the pros. The last great WR to come out of college in my humble opinion is Larry Fitzgerald.

Crab doesn't look to be a guy that will produce like Fitzgerald.

If we're dead set on spending more high draft picks on WRs would should do so on Dez Bryant, the dude looks like TO without the drama

Irvin was diva who also was a leader and one of hardest workers on the team. Irvin was drafted even higher than Crabtree 8th overall in 88, but came to Dallas ready to work. Back then Dallas was a horrible team, maybe Irvin wasn't enamored to go to a bad team, but he did. Crabtree is being a fool and getting bad advice. Another thing is Jerry just overpaid on draft picks to get Roy Williams, so I highly doubt he wants to give up the farm for a unproven player.

Same here.

Why would we want to throw crazy money at a completely unproven player who even if he isn't a bust will never catch more passes in a season than Jason Witten?

We don't need Michael Crabtree or his ego.

I hear ya buddy, we just got rid of one head case WR, we sure as hell dont need to go add another one.

well all you have to do is look at the posters who want him and that says it all.

I'd take him. What is that saying?

Just thinking he's from Texas, probably a big Cowboy fan.

Just saying if he doesn't sign this season, the 49ers can trade his rights when the FA period starts, instead of getting nothing in return for Crabtree re-entering the draft, maybe they can cut their loses and trade Crabtree for a 3rd....

I bet Jerry would give Crabtree top 10 money.

Even though Crab is a primadonna I think he has star status in his future if he goes to the right team.....

I don't want Crabtree. Players with heart can win games when overmatched. This kid has no heart. He is all about himself and what money he can get.

Let the 49ers have him.

top ten money for sitting out a year? That guy will be lucky to get top 20 money. That is the way it should be for someone who refuses to be paid his worth the first time around.

aside from that, don't want him. obviously bad attitude.

Well, it sounds like it may not be all about the money and maybe he just does not want to play for SF.

I would definately give anything below a 1st for him and depending where our 1st is next year I might give that.

Eli and Peyton, they both pretty much did the same thing, they just had teams that said OK, if you don't want to play for us then we will trade you. The money is probably just a smokescreen.

I tell you what, as an 21 year old kid and a top draft choice you would have been hard pressed to make me play for the Commanders or the 49ers for that matter!
