I voted No but not because of Prescott but because of the brain trust trying to build around him.
Prescott is a tweener to me. He's in that 2nd Tier and he's good enough with the right team built around him. Some may not realize this but that year he had Miss St at #1 for that short period of time, they had the #1 D in college and ended up with the #1D in the SEC, the D conference.
So, I'd rather he be bad enough to be replaced or a Tier 1 capable of being the difference maker like Brady, Rodgers, Rotheliesberger, Brees, Mahomes and Wilson.
On another team, better at team building, he would be good enough to get the job done. With the amount of cap he will take, add Cooper, and the rest of the in the top 6 paid at their position, I'd rather have better for that 35M a year.
I do not begrudge him trying to get as much as he can this go around because he is not assured of another shot at it. The job isn't just playing football, the real job is making as much as you can in the short period of time in which you have to make it.
