100% lies. Also his position is the easiest to replace than any other position in the sport and yet you want to give him the highest contract? Volume does not equal TALENT, Cowboys fans will never grasp that. He has had a top 5 o line his whole career and provided just above average stats, and you want to call him elite??..

Sorry to hurt your feelings but Zeke has been considered to be more elite at his position than Dak has at his position. And for the record when Zeke held out 2 years early I didn’t want JJ to give in.

chokemo? never heard that corny ish in my life. definitely wasn't a nickname. what kinda circles you run in, bub?
Sounds like you've been living in a bubble? Tony's nickname "Chokemo" has been all over the internet, social media websites, newspapers, etc. since he started his career history of choke jobs with the Cowboys in 2006 - 2015. Where have you been?

Internet fan posts are the best sources for information, especially Eagles and Skins fans. :muttley:

You should probably ask yourself why you're aligning with them. Are you that desperate to "win" an argument with a stranger?

Nobody is aligning themselves with anyone, much less dumb Eagles and Skins fans. I was simply answering the question on how Romo has been referred to as Chokemo throughout his 10 years as a starter.

I think we need to sign him to a 3 or 4 year deal and start looking for another QB to develop.

and he took a long term back loaded team friendly deal, its smoke and mirrors he not making 15 a year at this point so at least Zeke gave a little to get his done at the last minurte,

You guys can break it down any way you want to, but we all saw the games.
We saw Dak choke repeatedly when the Cowboys have faced tough teams. We saw him celebrate his greatness against weak teams.
We saw him throw the ball into the ground on 4th down. We saw him casually walk to the sidelines after drive after drive ended, as if it wasn't his responsibility to lead the team to victory.
We saw Carson Wentz pass and pass his team into the playoffs despite them being injury riddled, while the Cowboys let another season waste in the weakest division in the NFL.
Dak IS NOT the guy.
You were doing fine until you mentioned Wentz. Dude can't even stay on the field and Dak has outplayed him overall including head to head.

I agree, in general but do you think this helps the discussion or hurts it? All the things you say about Wentz are mostly true IMO and yet, the poster is not wrong. This guy, Wentz, with all the faults you mention, still went out and beat Dak with less talent around him and all the faults and ailments mentioned, in his game. That's just not good.

I disagree that he beat Dak, though. The Eagles beat the Cowboys. But if we use that logic of the QB being responsible head to head, then overall Dak has been more impressive. And as far as weapons, Dak's were on the sideline when it mattered most. With a coaching staff like that, what Dak has accomplished so far is even more impressive. He should've just left Wentz out of the conversation, IMO.

I voted yes but it doesn’t matter what I think. Dak wants more than that.

I voted No but not because of Prescott but because of the brain trust trying to build around him.

Prescott is a tweener to me. He's in that 2nd Tier and he's good enough with the right team built around him. Some may not realize this but that year he had Miss St at #1 for that short period of time, they had the #1 D in college and ended up with the #1D in the SEC, the D conference.

So, I'd rather he be bad enough to be replaced or a Tier 1 capable of being the difference maker like Brady, Rodgers, Rotheliesberger, Brees, Mahomes and Wilson.

On another team, better at team building, he would be good enough to get the job done. With the amount of cap he will take, add Cooper, and the rest of the in the top 6 paid at their position, I'd rather have better for that 35M a year.

I do not begrudge him trying to get as much as he can this go around because he is not assured of another shot at it. The job isn't just playing football, the real job is making as much as you can in the short period of time in which you have to make it.
