I have no idea.......no one has shared that info yetDoes he still have drop toe?
Jerry himself said last week he won't rule him out for return, and said he's "on the brink" (paraphrasing). He doesn't count as official I guess?Stephen Jones said months ago they viewed this as a "redshirt" season for Smith. I've seen nothing official that it's changed, just speculation.
The info you added was far more accurate than the info in that article. I'm surprised Archer wrote that. He's usually fairly good. You are correct. My initial source said 6 weeks and I went with it. Found a short Time later that it was 5 weeks. Thanks for the correct info, though. I hate to be the spreader of inaccurate info.

Dear mods, consistent with the no new Zeke accusation threads without proof, now that we know what the reinstatement process is, can we please ban all Jaylon threads that don't include verifiable evidence of medical eligibility to play or not play this season.
As far as the difference between the two, I disagree. Other than the now clarified NFL reintroduction procedure, there hasn't been a single valuable element of information offered on the Jaylon subject - lots of unprofessional medical prognostication combined with bizarre and meaningless innuendo. No different than the Zeke incident inferences - nothing concrete or factual - and both have major roster implications.No. Don't click the thread. Easy peasy, Dooms.
The Zeke sensationalization and our speculation on Jaylon are apples and oranges.
This is a Cowboys forum. It's what we do.

It wasn't addressed to you.Don't click the thread. Again, easy peasy.
Your take is just that... your take. I found all of this speculation interesting, and thus, valuable (for myself and many others, yet there's always a straggler or two that come in these Jaylon threads with a take similar to yours -- a very small minority -- albeit somewhat vocal). You don't get to tell me what is valuable or not. Respectfully, brudda.
And yes, it's much, much different than that Zeke fiasco, but let's not go there, mmkay...

I've heard the same from my friend that works at The Star. He's not playing this season.Stephen Jones said months ago they viewed this as a "redshirt" season for Smith. I've seen nothing official that it's changed, just speculation.
Jaylon Smith @thejaylonsmith Nov 6
Lets Go COWBOYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! #ClearEyeView
Based on his message on twitter, I think it is safe to conclude that the S represents the nerve in his knee is healed and I would be shocked if he was not playing on Thanksgiving.

Disparagement of a player for criminal activity has not been the exclusive qualifier for extra fan zone relegation - more often than not, it's based on eternal polemics or unfounded speculation. One disparages a Cowboy accusing him of criminal activity. The other doesn't.
Yes different.

If you had anything substantive to report, it would be great. I indicated that I appreciated the clarification of the NFL's player reintroduction schedule. I don't find the non-professional neurological prognostications or the deciphering of cryptic tweets to be of any particular use. The poor guy is facing greater consequences than reestablishing a football career, I guess that I'm just uncomfortable with the speculation, to be honest.Says you. I say it's completely arbitrary mostly doing with board traffic becoming cumbersome to the staff.
I don't know why it bothers you that some of us like to talk about the Jaylon's future. Smith himself certainly invites it.
