I would too. Like him as a player. Probably never be a Pro Bowl caliber, and I am glad we didnt take him in 2017. But he is still a good football player that should be able to pressure fron a wide gap, which is what I believe we will try more this year

Well, last season was his first playing as a regular starter and his production wilted. He could be a guy that’s just suited better as a situational pass rusher.

Id be willing to give up a 4 for him. He was always too stiff to beat an OT if engaged, so you know he is going to be pretty soley a 9 gap rusher. He could have a fit for what we could be trying to do on defense. He is a hair on fire kind of player, and I always have a soft spot for that.

4th would be the max though. And that might be steep what might amount to a specialist.

I still cant shake the image of him walking the 2017 draft with that huge picture of his grandmother
That was crazy. It was cool for him to do this for his grandmother but i don’t think it was the right way to honor her

Great. So we may trade up for a guy I don't even really want

We agree on most things. Strong disagreement here. Henderson is amongst the best players we have any chance at getting. Just so happens, cb is our biggest need, and the dropoff in talent not only at cb, but in general in this class after that tier that is scheduled to go top 15ish is steep. Small trade up for Henderson is perfectly OK w me.

Still rather have J. Adams lolol

ive a feeling Jamal Adams will be a cowboy this week for pick 17 ALONE, but we need time to agree a contract extension with him right now before we make a trade.

Why on earth would you let Byron Jones walk only to pay Jamal Adams AND give up your first round pick? Ain’t happening.

i am not saying it will happen but Byron jones is nowhere close to the Jamal adams who makes game changing plays and Byron jones will probably drop a baby if you handed him one.

Is that feeling really itchy, followed by waves of nausea and uncontrollable diarrhea?

They play different positions for one thing. Also they didn’t just let Byron walk, he got massively overpaid for his talent level by Miami.

I don't understand it either, and this is why they had no other choice but to pay Cooper a huge salary, and the same will be said with Adams.
