I was just about to post that link!

It's a good read, and I think he used the opportunity to express his position quite well.

I can't help but to think that he's ultimately traded. From all indications, the Seahawks have made it clear that they don't want - and don't intend - to give him an extension. So if option A is off the table, that leaves only option B.
Except, I don't think the Seahawks have made it clear they don't want to give him an extension. If that were so clear, I believe he would have already been dealt to another team.

Well they've had plenty of time to make the attempt. He didn't come to talk with Garrett because he was hearing what he wanted from them.

And I have yet to hear the Seahawks claim they've made him an extension offer, but instead the " we expect him here" and "he's under contract" lines. But please correct me if I'm wrong and you've seen otherwise.

Maybe the Seahawks are just better at keeping their business to themselves than what we see from the Cowboys. Would that not explain why you haven't heard certain things from them?

Actually, I've seen just the opposite from that team. Lies at every turn. And players calling them out left and right for it.

I'll go on record as saying that the current regime is on borrowed time and won't last three more years. It's all falling apart up there.

It's not lies. It's the art of disinformation. I really think you are off base with your assessment of them.

3 seasons is a long time. Anything can happen in that period of time and it won't be because of anything you are discerning today from that group. But we don't have to wait that long to reveal how wrong you are about them. We just have to see them give ET that extension that you are so sure he's not getting. Then you can get back with me and admit you were wrong.

I've got no problem in being wrong if they ultimately give him an extension. Be sure to let me know as soon as it happens.

Just hold yourself to the same standard if you're the guy that ends up being wrong.

You are the one that seems to claim to have your thump on the pulse of this situation. I'm sure you'll know about it before I do, if it happens. Unlike you, I have a record of admitting when I'm wrong. You just let it fly under the radar.

Show me where I've claimed that? If anything, I've said over and over and over again how laughable it it for anyone to stats that they absolutely know how this thing is going to go. And by anyone, I include myself. Maybe you missed that part? Or maybe you're incentive again trying to pin someone down your an absolute position they don't have, like you tried to do with @Idgit the other day?

Wow. You've got a real issue with accountability. And it seems like you think you're the only person who has it. You want to hold everyone else accountable for being wrong before the fact. Like I've said, I have no problem being wrong. I've been wrong before, and I'll be wrong again. Nobody's perfect.

But you seem to have a burning need to call out people, even for things they never said, so I just want to be sure you're up to the same standards you demand from others.

You are the one that has a problem when someone disagrees with you. You just can't stand it. You take it so personally. You are wrong now. And it just eats you up that I'm telling the world. :muttley:

You made the statement to the effect, the Seahawks has already decided to not give ET an extension. That's just pattenly false.

You need to look up the term "patently false "before you throw it out there. It's ibvious that you don't know what it means. What's clear is that you're bound and determined to try to interject absolutes wherever you can, even when none exist. That's your issue, not anyone else's.

The fact is that to date, the Seahawks have not signed Earl Thomas to an extension. And he's been actively campaigning for one. Going so far as to approach the Cowboys coach last year. If they wanted to give him an extension, there's nothing standing in their way.

So, to date, the Seahawks have, in fact, "decided not to give ET an extension". And I guess that fact bothers young more than a little bit?

How conceded are you? You say that as if it's not even possible.

I'm asking a question.

And I'll ask again, what exactly am I "wrong" about here?

In your rush to assess blame, even you can't tell at this point.

The word is "obvious" not "ibvious". If you don't like it when I nit pick then don't do it yourself.

What the Seahawks have done to date is not what you were talking about when you implied they won't give him an extension, and you know it. They just don't want to reward his bad behavior while he's still under contract for another season. They will in the end give him that extention.

You must like to hear me repeat myself or just messing with me. At this point It must be the latter.

So let me get this straight, you think that you get to decide what I'm implying?

I don't think you need me to tell you how crazy that sounds, do you?

They just don't want to reward his bad behavior while he's still under contract for another season. They will in the end give him that extention.

It's quite ironic that you want to project absolute statements to other people - that they never made - while then presenting absolute statements yourself.

A staggering lack of self awareness.
