good lord, you can't handle people having a differing view than you to the point I have to be in denial?

and I am a queen now, lovely how you guys resort to name calling and innuendo.

good show.

no need to get your panties all bunched up.

what does that mean? that greg should be able to keep up with a WR?

I don't know the play you are referring to off hand, but we all know greg looked awkward at best in coverage.
he didn't have to "keep up with a wr" he just failed to make the tackle. it was the the 1st amani Toomer td in our last playoff game.

Greg is the perfect example of a player that...

Plays the game for the money.......there are alot of them out there....and he is one of them.

Like I said....perfect match for him in Oakland....no wonder Greg turned down a opportunity to play in NE and try to get a ring........its all about the money.....even when Greg tries to say its not........it is....

Whats wrong with playing for the money as long as you give it your all on the field?

"panties bunched up" is a common phrase if "queen of denial" is common then I apologize, I haven't ever heard it.

what I said is not remotely calling you a queen, though you have been reaching this entire thread, don't expect you to stop.

keep on keeping on, look at how cool everyone thinks you are for "pwning" me.

you rock. no really, you do.

Ellis isn't even that legit where I could maybe see where he's coming from when he said "I could have made those plays". I don't know if he would of to be honest.

Spencer>Ellis run support.

With all the evidence we had available there is no way you could say Spencer is better than Ellis in run support.

I like Spencer, I think he has a bright future, but Ellis was still better than him at just about everything.

greg sucked in coverage, that play has nothing to do with the entire premise of the arguement.

twist twist twist, you guys really don't think you are biased?

that's just silliness.

It's quite common.

ya they have stats to back that opinion up.

but there are stats to back up pacman as our best corner last season, and I think that is complete BS too.

well actually he prefaced what he said with he is not bashing, and during and after.

that way you put it sounds worse to me, and I take that as bias.

twisting the facts to suit your point. That's how I see that post of yours you quoted.

It's called classic passive agressive Greg Ellis.

He tells you he's not complianing while he's complaining.

He wasn't trying to bash Anthony Spencer while he was bashing Anthony Spencer.

Wake up already.

Sucked in coverage?:lmao2:

That was the lamest attempt at a tackle I've seen since Mike Jenkins.

I have never heard it.

a quick google search indicates it was a song, and the only other references to it are women admitted they were wrong about something.

so again, inuendo.

now who's the "queen of denial?"

please just drop it though, I generally don't dislike your posts and this childish crap has almost pushed me to put you on ignore, just agree to disagree and move on. No hard feelings.

I have no earthly idea what any of those numbers mean but if you watch the games its not even close... yet.
I think it's pretty safe to say it's "close." Heck, I'd argue that the fact that Wade played Spencer more on run downs is damn good evidence that he is already better. If there's anything I know, it's that Ellis was not a significantly better OLB in 2008.

Owens was disrputive during the season and Ellis leading up to camp. Off season is the time if you have complaints to says something.

Ellis went to Jerry to complain about the defense during the year (so did Tank). I agree, complaining in the offseason is the best way to do it.

To my knowledge, Owens talked about wanting the ball more (what WR in the league doesn't say that?) and in private went to Garrett about wanting the ball more and in private supposedly said he didn't respect Garrett. Greg's attitude was made public, Owens did it in private. Ellis wanted out of Dallas, Owens wanted to stay in Dallas.

Hey, they're are both gone and there's only so much time I am going to deal talking about them. But from my perspective Ellis was a bigger problem and headache than Owens and didn't produce nearly as much. Like I said, I was disappointed that Owens was released at first because it made zero sense to me that somebody like Ellis could still be on the team. But since Ellis has been released, it makes much more sense to me that they released Owens as well.

the guy cut back and greg misjudged.

then he got knocked out of the play by his own guy.

and again it has nothing to do with anything.
