I know you enough, you have a chip on your shoulder.

you get butt hurt when people disagree with you and you pitch a little fit.

you said I am a loser because I don't punch people in the face if they call me fat. You know what you were implying. You do that crap to more people than me here.

you throw a ton of BS out and when you get called on it you act like a spoiled little kid.

trust me that i am not the only one here who sees it that way.

I won't be responding to you again, it does no good to ever explain anything to you.

Yup.

That is the way to go. Get exposed then try to act like the tough guy.

I hate to tell anyone that is defending this loser that the sheer fact that he opened his mouth about anything related to the Cowboys and last season is throwing them under the bus. He is a Raider now. Why the hell can't he keep his mouth shut. Hell be like T.O. and say I play for Oakland now all that is in the past. I wish the Cowboys luck but I am a Raider now. But of course he can't do that because he is a LOSER!!!

The regrettable part is that certain key players are forced to expend time and energy responding to allegations made by ex-teammates. Jerry and Romo have to deal with every new TO "tweet," and now Demarcus will have to face an army of reporters to confirm or deny Greg's sensationalistic story. It's hard to "move on" when others won't let you.

Greg's comments come from a player who has always whined like a little girl. No surprise then that he would take a shot at the Cowboys....but to include Ware.

Ware always seemed like a stand up guy. But if he was coming out to put a lessor player on the field then I lose a little respect for the guy. And does anyone think this comment / issue will now be an issue during contract negotiations with Ware.

I sure hope this is all B.S. because I really like and respect Ware. If true, then this is a big negative.

This is so stupid.

What does Ellis think? The coaches wouldn't go looking for Ware?

I can see it now "Ah geez. We've misplaced Ware again. Send in Ellis."

So what if Greg Ellis is a Raider now. Just because he is no longer on the team has no impact on the truth of what he said. Him being an ex-Cowboy does not mean he is making it up. People can call him a loser or disagree with what he is saying, but nobody on here really knows the truth since they were not there. So for those that want to dismiss what he is saying simply because he is a Raider, it is extremely illogical and ignorant to criticize him for speaking out. Sure he might have some bitter feelings and have been a whiner towards the end, still doesn't mean what he says isn't the truth.

Just like so many ignorant people want to say if you criticize someone like romo then you aren't a fan, and with that logic you couldn't have been a fan if you criticized TO since that argument revolved around not being a fan if you criticize a player on the team, how quickly so many forget what Greg Ellis gave to this team. He played here for 10 years coming back after 2 devastating leg injuries and played as well as he did, and now he is having his name and reputation trashed simply because he said what his feelings and observations about the team he played on were.

Many people on here in the past have said, "Well, that guy was a bad player so anything he said about what went on just can't be true." Do people not see how stupid that sounds, so what if he wasn't the best player, what you observe has nothing to do with what kind of player this person is, but somehow so many relate the 2 together.

I'm sure there are plenty of past or future ex places of employment that will be or are glad when you no longer work there. You might leave for personal reasons, or disagree with the direction of the business and you might be right, but do you deserve to be criticized for leaving or saying what you think just because you are not there any more? Even if you did a great job, does that mean everything you accomplished should be dismissed?

Of course not, so while many of you might disagree with what Ellis said, but you have nothing to base it on other then your opinion since you were not there. So if you want to call yourself a "real fan", then perhaps you should refrain from criticizing Ellis for what he said, and simply just appreciate all he did over the last decade, that is of course if you have criticized him as harshly as some have. I understand it is human nature to jump to conclusions, but none of us can form a conclusion since none of us were there, but if you're content being close minded and telling yourself you know something you really don't, then I feel sorry for you and any friends or family.

As Adam as already pointed, Ware played 97 percent of the defensive snaps last season. And if we deduct the plays he sat out against Seattle due to injury, he missed an average of less than one snap per game.

Okay, just read a post that said Ware played all but 29 plays last year. If that is true then Ellis is a big liar....and a whiny little girl to boot.

Ellis can enjoy Oakland and the fine management team there. Ha.;)

Thank you for your response. I was reading some of the earlier posts and came across this fact while you were sending the note.

I think less and less of Ellis. Wish he would shut up and enjoy Oakland.

Actually, we have the facts to base it on: http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2835900&postcount=70.

Let's assume that Ellis is being truthful and Ware did approach him about going in the game.

So what?

Ware came very close to setting a new sack record last season, was a serious contender for defensive MVP, and missed a meager 29 plays. He's widely regarded as the best OLB in the game. How can we as fans possibly complain?

Those facts would be accurate if Ellis said Ware actually did take himself out of the game for whatever reasons, then Ellis would totally look like a complete idiot. But that isn't what he is saying. He is only saying Ware tried to take himself out, but it is clear it never actually happened. But like I said, we don't know since we weren't there.

Once again, I ask, what difference does it make?

It clearly didn't affect Ware's play.

I know it didn't, but I don't think the question was ever how did it affect Ware's play. The issue is whether Ware tried to take himself out for Ellis'es benefit. Maybe Ware was tired and needed a break, it wouldn't be a bad idea to give him some extra rest occasionaly.
