I love dez but I have a hard time giving him 100 when a guy like brown only makes 48. But id hate to see him go to the eagles or something like that!!!
I don't want to see him walk but this notion oh the Cowboys will collapse without Dez as if he is the only WR in the entire NFL other teams have won without Dez. I don't think Williams or Beasley or Harris would fill the void Dallas clearly would have to add a talented WR. I want a deal done but there is a bottom line in which Dallas should not go over in terms of payout. In the end I think Dez deal will get done but he is 1 person and this crap of well just rebuild the entire team comments you have made based on Dez not being here is flat out stupid.
YepI'd like to see what kind of numbers Dez would put up trying to catch balls from RG3/McCoy/Cousins and Mark Sanchez.
We are not built like those teams. Are you that big of a homer?
We are not the Pats. We don't have Tom Brady. We don't have a QB that you can just put **** around and he can make it happen. Manning? He won with weapons, and still has to have weapons to compete, stop it. Rodgers, he has the weapons, and a great playing D that year. Seahawks? They had the best Defense in the whole league, and a QB who was mobile and could buy time, with a top 3 running back. Ravens? They had a great Defense, and a hot QB at the time. Steelers? Again, they had a great D at the time.
We are not built like other teams, we don't have that defense. We need weapons to succeed. Plain and simple. Right now Dez is our biggest weapon.
Again, look at the teams that have Won, we are not built like them.
Romo is not Brady, Manning, or Rodgers. The other teams that have won, had great defense's
Giants, Ravens, Seahawks ect all had great Defense's playing great at that time. We have no pass rush, and only 1 true cover corner(OScan.)

So you pay Dez what he thinks he deserves how do you resign or upgrade the defense you clearly have pointed out needs help?
You can't put all your marbles on a WR. Romo might not make it much longer, is Dez going to be great with a Rook QB?
There's a ton of factors the FO has to think about for the future, not just Dez.
Yes Dallas has more building to do on defense no one has said they didn't. Manning, Rodgers and Brady have not won any SB recently so why continue to talk about them? Dallas is more than just Dez Braynt, he is important I agree and I want him signed
Overall I hear what you are saying. If we had a QB with a real great Resume(Romo is not horrible, but still), and a team known to play good-great D. I would agree. Trust me I would.
I was all for letting Newman go, I was a bigger fan of his than Dez. The problem is we finally have something really good/elite. We can't just let him go.
We are just not built like that.
What like Flacco? Eli or Wilson? As for how the Cowboys are built this season? There are other things needed especially on defense. They have made strides but much more needs to be done. I'm all for getting Dez resigned I think it has to be within reason. I fully expect him to be in the top 5 WR when all is said and done
Dez/Lesean/and Maclin would dominate. For you to say other wise, you are just being blind, and a homer.
Maclin speaks for himself. He's not your prototypical WR. Dude isn't even probably considered top 10. His numbers have been great this season though, and he get's it done. So Dez would have a hell of a year in the Eagles System.
RG3, I'll give you that 1. It could work though.

The fans on this board are literally either joking, or really dont understand what losing Dez Bryant would mean. A) Murray has been healthy the first time in his career, during a contract year....hmmmm. B) The reason Murray looks the way he does is because they always have 2 players on Dez. Take him out of the equation. Now they stack the box, and we do what? Hope romo lasts the season? Really? Come on guys. We are not going to draft a WR that teams automatically double team and build entire game plans around.

Here are the 10 Largest WR contracts in the NFL today. Show me which one of these guys has been the driving force in a Super Bowl Championship. Hard to make the case that posters don't understand what Dez means.
